does this automatically discredit the creation story? I would love to hear from evolutionist Christians on this, or open minded evolutinists who could explain if it were possible at all ie. the creation story being true at the time that humans have evolved at that point?

I need your help. This is very urgent! My pet hamster has stated that he doesn't believe in Jesus. Hamsters have a short-life expectancy and he could die any day! I don't want him to go to Hell where perverts will mess with him. How do I Christianize my hamster?

Hey, a friend told me that ya'll do not believe the bible to be "literal". I am not catholic, but my dad was, and i dont think thats true. So is it true that catholics dont take the bible literal?

It is a wonderful book by James Herriot who started his career as a veterinarian in Yorshire. I loved reading about him and the animals he treated. I first read it in the early 70's and have read it over again many times. He had much insight about people as well as animals.

What brought this up: I noticed another "do my homework for me" question by a student who had obviously not read All Creatures Great and Small. Will she ever realize what she is missing by not reading the good books? Were we really that much different in our youth?

I'm rambling away from the subject. Dear Senior Citizen section friends...... Any comments about the book? I'd love to hear from you.

i asked abt the hijab and if men prefered women w/ it or w/o.

now im gonna tell u something i experience everyday:

im in 9th, u see, i just started HS and everday when i go to skoool, in the hall i see at least 10 muslim girls at diff. times and in different parts of the hall. at least 5 of them wear the hijab (real pretty hijabs too), cover themselves properly, wear loose clothing, and try to look modest and like a true muslim woman.

the other 5 wear tight, revealing clothing, curse (A LOT lol), dont wear the hijb, and r always w/ boys.

so while the first 5 r practicing their religion, the other 5 try to be "cool" and fit in.

but wat i find is tht the ones who try to be "cool" usually turn out to be the ones who r hated by muslim boys and girls. and the modest ones turn out to be the ones who r respected by the muslim boys.
do u experience this too? tell me...
