Not here to defent my God. Besides I'm too small to do this.
Only I can say is when you try to compare
EVIL--------------GOD think this:
DARK------------SUNSHINE
HATE-------------LOVE
DEATH-----------LIFE
HELL-------------HEAVEN
Have in mind above words and you can tell what our God can do and evil god can't!
GOD BLESS YOU.

Ok, there is ONLY one God Almighty.
Evil, is actually the absence of God Almighty in something/someone.
God Almighty does not originate with evil, since evil is the lack of Him.
That being said, an evil so called "god" can not do anything because their power is not real and only manipulates people that don't know what evil truly means :)

I'm an atheist, but I must say that your point is weak. The Christian God certainly isn't all that wonderful as described, but life under a truly evil God would be much worse than it currently is. As things are, we can't honestly say we're all living some sort of hellish existence, which is what we would have if God were evil.

Well, the ruler of Hell, though no God, will cause much of the human race to follow him upon the earth, and will lead humanity astray. He will cause all those who believe in him to receive a mark, either in their foreheads or in their right hand, which will likely be in the form of a chip.
He will maketh fire come down from the sky in the sight of men. He will gather the armies of the earth, to face Christ and his army on that Great Day of God Almighty. His army will be vanquished and all sent to the furnace, and sealed shut for 1,000 years.

Many people have worshiped "evil" gods. It does depend what your interpretation of evil is, though.
Most interpretations of the actions of god(s) are neither all good nor all evil. Maybe claiming that god was all good was actually to keep god from becoming angered.
BTW: The term for believing in a god that is not necesarilly good is dystheism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dystheism

God does not interfere with the free will prime directive; all evil is a consequence of living beings, not God.

Actually the evil god had people sacrifice their children through fire to devils. It is called child sacrifices. And this grieved my God. For this wasn't Gods plan. So? My God sent a sacrifice that would be victorious over our sin & the death sentence. My God sent His Only Begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him will not perist but have everlasting life. So? Jesus is the 'Lamb of God' He was sinless so raised from the dead. So? There is no other sacrifice that is sufficient.
So? My God doesn't lie. The evil god is a liar, false accuser, thief & a murderer from the beginning. Jesus came to destroy the destructive works of the devil. Jesus came so we could have life & have life more abundantly.
Also, the evil god temts us to lose faith in our God. Tempts us to go after other gods, or tempts us to sin against God. My God never tempts me to leave Him or to go after other gods or to sin against Him.

Wipe out the entire population- oh, wait.
Have a problem with certain kinds of love- uh, nevermind.
Allow an evil madman to run around tempting people- nah, that's covered...
I know! Kill babies!
Oh, oops.
Hmmm, I don't know.

I love this question, it's awesome.
An evil God would pretend that worshiping him will lead you to salvation but in the end he's just going to send you to hell anyways.

Answer everyone's prayer.
Think of some of the things people would pray for.
They hire people to kill "loved ones."
They try to run over them in their cars.
They try to poison them.
What if God granted all of these prayer requests?
How many of us would be alive?
