Hello everyone, I am really confused now, I have been straight all my life, and have over the past few years been, for want of a better word, a ladies man, enjoying myself with the opposite sex. recently I have met the most amazing girl, and we have been together a month today, and it has been fantastic. My problem is that we were fooling around the other night, and she wasn't quite getting "it" right, and I became "disinteretsed", and I paniced, and automatically thought the worst, such as , "Im impotent", or "I'm Gay". The later has stuck with me, the past 48 hours, and it's bugging me a lot, and upsetting me. I still find her sexually attractive, we had fun the next day, and tonight we were fooling around and I was so in to it, but it kept playing on my mind. Am I gay? Is it because I'm ashamed to have thought it? I don' find myself attracted to men, but have been viewing them and trying to ascertain this. Could it be that past relationships have hurt me and I'm scared? I need help.

I hear both these terms used to describe people who have a Spanish heritage. Which of these terms is preferred? Or are they both okay?

Given this:
Roman Catholic scholar Joseph F. Kelly wrote in The Concise Dictionary of Early Christianity (1992, p. 2), "The word 'pope' was not used exclusively of the bishop of Rome until the ninth century, and it is likely that in the earliest Roman community a college of presbyters rather than a single bishop provided the leadership."

Doesn't the Roman Church's assertion that the supremecy of the bishop(singular) of Rome goes back to the Apostle Peter seem a little odd to you? I mean, either there was always only one, or there wasn't right?

in regards to my previous question about Atheists
Truth Seeker says

"Someone who intellecually arrives at atheism, stays there. For example, most people claim they understand evolution, but few people really do. If you can go into detail about evolution, and understand exactly how hominds arouse from environmental changes, then you understand evolution and, consequently, soon discrad any silly notions of creationism or "in God's Image".

I disagree but can I have your thoughts on this please ?

( sorry Truth for using your answer but I am curious about this now )

For the past few months, I hear footsteps in my bedroom but no one is there. Lately, it's been happening more often and now it's just not the sound of the footsteps, it's more than that now. A few days ago, I woke up because I heard running (sounded like little kids) from the hallway to my room. Again no one was there but this time I can feel them and I tried to scream but no sound was coming out of my mouth. I tried waking up my husband by hitting his legs but he never woke up. I felt a little kid sitting on my bed by my foot. I tried to feel it with my feet but all I felt was that deep on that spot. I was so scared and freaked out. It turns out that my husband did feel me hitting his legs but thought he was dreaming. So many accidents and health problems happened in this house and even to the family we bought this house from who just moved next door. Why would you just move right next door? How can I stop these ghosts? Even my dog barks and grawls at certain spots and no one is there

What do they think Jean-Baptiste Lamarck and Erasmus Darwin were talking and writing about before Charles Darwin was even born? Chambers, Grant, Jameson, and many others were debating and publishing works on evolution decades before Charles Darwin did.

Is it just that they are bitter because he enlighteed the world to an observable mechanism behind evolution (natural selection)?

Little moron jokes
Kock knock Jokes
Elephant Jokes
When my grown children were pre-teen they drove me mad with knock knock and elephant jokes.
I think I must have done the same to my parents with the little moron jokes and silly riddles.

Why did the elephant paint his toenails red?

Adam was standing right there with her. Eve didn't shake her hips, toss her hair and say "I've got something here for you big boy". Adam was standing right there and ate it with her. Why is all of the blame placed only on Eve?

5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Do you believe that we should all have the right to do whatever we want as long as it doesn't limit the rights of others, or do you believe in legislating your morality (which is different depending on the denomination) into public laws?

(Reposted since no one has yet. With the exception of the guy who was playing pokemon. No one has provided anything that isn't easily refutable yet.)

Please provide your evidence. I wish to know. Yes I will research it. Yes I will listen.

However, if your answer is thermodynamics then please move along you don't understand thermodynamics. If your answer is something about god said X then please move along as that is not evidence. If your answer is statistically unlikely hood then please explain why people win the lottery. Lastly, the magnetic field does not indicate it is permanently decaying. It goes through ups and downs and that is evident by the newly created sea floor. Covered under Oceanography.

no proof ,nothing has been established ,the bible is so full of double standards ,ppl have no arguments FOR the existence of a God, nothing in this circle of bla bla on R&S has helped establish any sort of entity!

while it is great fun to wrestle aound with some of you,and I think I find many of you have a great sense of humor, I would like to know if any Christians at all, will try to establish what they call a fact regarding the existence of The God they love to speak of so much???? any takers here at all????

I didnt call myself Atheist
religion/God/spirituality etc just didnt seem to come into my thoughts enough for me to label myself

I do understand that on a forum like this , we all need labels to get our point across
but in real life does Atheism come into it ?

I also have to add though that being in the UK there was no need to explain ourself
I am wondering if the US is different in regards to this

thank you xx
