I actually used to be die hard against voting-in part because I didnt want to be 'responsible' for the atrocities that elected officials commit through passing of certain laws. I can be against abortion but if the person is also for say, guns...then Im still choosing death in someway. I realized though, after looking in the OT that God specifically told Moses to set certain leaders over 10s, 50, 100s and 1000s of men to rule over them and judge between them, much in the way that elected officials do now so my view has changed somewhat. I still havent exercised that in a vote yet...this presidential election will be the first time.

That is so silly. True Christianity is not about voting. True Christianity is following Jesus and accepting His mercy and grace.

There are some sects that do not vote, but they choose it to be that way. They see it as a way of protecting themselves from "worldly" things.

The Bible does not forbid Christians to vote.

True Christians may vote, but they don't put their faith in elections or elected officials...they put it in the Lord.
