Adam was standing right there with her. Eve didn't shake her hips, toss her hair and say "I've got something here for you big boy". Adam was standing right there and ate it with her. Why is all of the blame placed only on Eve?

5 for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Eve was NOT "weaker." And she wasn't "born." She was 'made' from Adam's rib. That is theo-illogical (illogical theology).

Eve wasn't weaker...SHE wasn't given the instruction by God to not eat from the tree of knowledge!!!!

God gave the instruction to ADAM and only ADAM. Thus, when Eve went to Adam and said it was good to eat, Adam's responsibility was to advise her that God instructed him not to eat from that tree. Then, if Eve chose to still eat from the tree, she'd have to answer for it totally on her own.

Instead of Adam telling her it was wrong and that God said not to eat from that tree, he allowed Eve to assume the leadership role in a situation that HE knew was wrong because God told him DIRECTLY.

To make matter worse, instead of Adam apologizing for not listening to God for himself and for not warning Eve, he pointed the finger at God and at Eve ("God, it wasn't me...it was this woman YOU gave me.) Adam killed (literally) two birds with one stone by blaming everyone except he who was to blame. Adam disobeyed God and his poor leadership paved the way for his wife to disobey God.

And we're ALL paying for it. LOL.

She wasn't the only one to blame. Adam was to blame too, that's why they both were sentenced to death thus we all inherited death from them.

Who told you Eve was only to blame?? Who told you that???

When Adam stood before God, the first thing out of his mouth, knowing he had eaten of the tree that God instructed him not to was: "Well, it was she, the woman YOU made for me!"

See, not only was he blaming Eve, but he was blaming God now too, oh no. Adam was blamed also as he was the stronger of the two but who did Satan go after, the weaker vessel, Eve. Adam, when Eve came to him and told him that it was ok to eat from the tree, should have turned her in to God and let God make him a new woman. Things would have been much different for us today than us experiencing all the pain and suffering we go thru daily.

Adam was made first and was the stronger vessel. Utlimately the blame stood solely on his shoulders as he knew God way before Eve was even born and shared in a wonderful relationship with God. He was blamed and now we suffer.

Adam and Eve will not have a chance at resurrection because they were "sentenced to death" by God directly after choosing to disobey a direct instruction. This is as it should be.

Adam does get blamed. It is called Adam's sin because he did it with open eyes and knew exactly what he was doing. He knew Eve had screwed up and decided that Eve was better than God and so committed the sin with full knowledge of what he was doing.

At Genesis 3:6, it shows that Adam did eat from the tree.
Eve of course was instrumental in desiring the fruit...and consequently made it appear to be desirable to Adam.
Adam, however, had the choice of refusing to partake; but he did just the opposite. They were both guilty and they both paid for their sin with death.....which they passed down to all of humankind to this day.

Not true. Ro. 5:12 says: "That is why, just as through one MAN (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."

Adam and Eve both disobeyed God, but the Bible puts the brunt of the blame on Adam, the head of his household.

She wasn't the one one responsible. Adam used to be responsible too, that is why they each had been sentenced to loss of life accordingly all of us inherited loss of life from them. Who informed you Eve used to be simplest responsible?? Who informed you that??? When Adam stood earlier than God, the very first thing out of his mouth, understanding he had eaten of the tree that God informed him to not used to be: "Well, it used to be she, the girl YOU made for me!" See, no longer simplest used to be he blaming Eve, however he used to be blaming God now too, oh no. Adam used to be blamed additionally as he used to be the more potent of the 2 however who did Satan move after, the weaker vessel, Eve. Adam, whilst Eve got here to him and informed him that it used to be okay to devour from the tree, must have became her in to God and permit God make him a brand new girl. Things could were a lot distinct for us at present than us experiencing all of the anguish and affliction we move through every day. Adam used to be made first and used to be the more potent vessel. Utlimately the blame stood completely on his shoulders as he knew God means earlier than Eve used to be even born and shared in a uncommon courting with God. He used to be blamed and now we endure. Adam and Eve wouldn't have a risk at resurrection considering that they had been "sentenced to loss of life" through God immediately after settling on to disobey an instantaneous guide. This is correctly.

Because the Christian religion is patriarchal, male-centered, and generally misogynist. If you think about how society didn't allow women to vote for such a long time, or how back in the day women were mocked when pursuing scholarly studies, it's clear that very conservative, Christian values were at work.

Since women in the bible were regarded as property, not equals, shouldn't it be Adam's fault too? What the hell was he doing when she ate the fruit, standing around like an idiot? Seems like a double standard to me
