The Bible says that the Earth is the center on the universe, this means that the Sun revolves around the Earth. How can we refute this new contradictory evidence that suggests that the Earth revolves around the Sun?

Does anyone agree with me?

for my own personal thirst for knowledge, please type in an answer to thesequestions:

what is your religion? (if no religion, only personal self-guidance or no guidance, state so)

what is your definition of God? (christian God, no god, collective conschiousness god, etc.)

what is your opinion, on a scale of 1 to 10, of G. W. Bush as president?

Please try to just answer the questions (if you have no opinion say so) without saying too much else, it will make my job easier. And no, you will probably not get the best answer, (if you answer first you will) but this is your chance to show off your opinion. I'm curious as to why so many Athiest are always in the religious section always trying to disprove somthing you don't believe in.I mean if there was a section about believing in a magical troll who could make it rain bunny rabbits I wouldn't bother going over there trying to disprove somthing I don't believe in.

So I'm just wondering what exactly your trying to accomplish.

Then how can you explain the science of creation, and evolution.
Most of what the bible has written in it has been proven false.

I have heard so many answers such as:
1. the fishers of men deal
2. the story of the fishes and loaves
3. that when Christians were being persecuted, they would draw half of the fish sign in the dirt, and if the person they were meeting or with drew the other half then they would know that they were Christians and not going to persecute them (code).

I just saw in the news that security may ask men to remove their turbans at airport screenings. I think this is sacriligious! I wonder if they would ask the Jewish men to do the same with their yamakas. What are your thoughts on this?

if you stand for nothing you'll fall for anything i dont understand how people come to the conclusion that life has meaning without an afterlife
