From my last Jehovah's Witness question (see link below) I learned that JWs believe the "soul" is actually our physical body.

Today in my studies I came across a couple of scriptures in which people died and came back to life through a miracle...

1King 17:21-22
And he proceeded to stretch himself upon the child three times and call to Jehovah and say: “O Jehovah my God, please, cause the soul of this child to come back within him.” Finally Jehovah listened to E·li´jah’s voice, so that the soul of the child came back within him and he came to life.

Everyone tries to be so politically correct now. I'm not talking about hurling racial slurs, but don't you think it seems like now people are just looking for reasons to claim that something offends them?
I went to return something to a store today. I had called ahead of time to make sure it was okay. When I got there, the clerk said "do you remember who you spoke with?" I said, "I'm not sure, but it may have been a foreign accent" and she goes "You know what, that is not necessary, you could have just told me her name, you didn't need to call her out by talking about her accent." WHAT???? I was going? I said, "I didn't say one bad thing about her or her accent, I just didn't get her name, and I thought maybe that would identify who the worker was." She like jerked my stuff from me and went off mumbling. So, what do you think? Are we just too freaking sensitive? Was my statement offensive??? wtf?

I've often heard from Christian acquaintances that people who commit suicide automatically go to hell, because they commit a murder for which they can't ask for forgiveness. I've also heard that it's because they throw away a God-given gift. All that being said, though, would a just, compassionate God condemn someone to hellfire and damnation for having a mental illness that causes him/her such desperation that he/she decides to end it all?Surely a just, compassionate God would take into account a person's motives for committing suicide.

That everybody agnostics muslims christians athiests..I think that a lot not all but a lot tend to judge people on what some lead you to think...I was wrong about athiest and agnostics thinkin us christians cram stuff down your throats[even though there ar ethose of you who do]...and i think it is wrong for you to think that we do tend to cram[even though some do]. i know there is a lot of people out there sending annoying e-mails and throwin bibles at you and threatning you. but sheesh we arent all like that. and i just dont like that people are thinkin that of me. So for now on i no longer call myself a christian but a follower of christ....All followers of Christ are Christians but not all Christians are followers of Christ. but just tell me what you think..this is more of me venting than a question...in a way. But just tell me your out look on it.

The bible states that God is both just and merciful.

To be just is to reward those who deserve it and punish those who deserve it.

To be merciful is to not punish those who deserve it .

How can both be true?

I have done some searches but i cant find exactly what I am looking for. Is there any one that has an idea or research on Paul's age at the time of Stephen's stoning, or Paul's age at the time of his conversion on the road to Damascus?

I believe that I once heard Charles Swyndoll teach that paul was approximately 45 when he began his public ministry for Christ. But I am thinking Paul was at least 30 to 35 at the time of his conversion. It's possible he was born up to 01 years prior to Jesus Birth.

So any thoughts or ideas would help. And for those of you that would ridicule or besmirch the name of Paul for what ever reason, please refrain from participating on this one. I and my fellow belivers would appreciate it.

We get belly buttons as scars from the umbillical cord... when we are in our mother's womb. right?

so if Adam and Eve were not created in a mother's womb then they could not have had belly buttons...

Can you imagine how weird it must have looked?

That would have proved to all their descendents that they were indeed created by supernatural acts right? Could that be where all the God beliefs originated from?

Okay so i was walking home and about a block from my house a seagull pooped on my head. I've heard that if a bird poops on your head it is supposed to bring you luck.
Does anyone know if that is true? or if you have been pooped on did you have good or bad luck shortly after it happened?

He says to look at evidence yet doesn`t seem to like anything that conflicts with his views. I agree man made religion is used to enslave and brainwash people with many people not knowing anything about the religion chosen for them by birth.
