Jesus was of the Jewish nation. He was neither black nor white. He probably was kinda dark complected though. Think of what someone from the Middle East would look like.

Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard. ~ Leviticus 19:27
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. ~ Matthew 5:17 (Jesus Christ)
If Christ came to fulfill the law then he would have adhered to the law in Leviticus and thus would not have cut the hair at the sides of his head or clip off the edges of the beard.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. ~ Isaiah 53:2
The scripture above is prophesying about Christ. So what ever Christ looked like as a man he was not beautiful or desirable in appearance.
God purposely didn't reveal Jesus' full appearance in scripture so that it would not cause conflict between races and peoples appearances. God is love not vanity.

Well according to the bible and the area he was born in he was neither black nor white. He was middle eastern in look. He had coarse hair and probably had an olive tent to his skin. More than likely had brown eyes and hair. The idea of Jesus as a white blond hair blue eyed man comes out of Medieval Europe. The idea of him as a black man comes out of Africa and other where black is the color of the majority population. Neither of those seem to hold any historical fact in them.

Neither, would of looked a lot like the Middle Eastern arabs of today, maybe even a little darker, as there were not many structures that adequately blocked UV rays back than. Would have been genetically very dark skinned.
Those who answer this question by saying he was a Jew no nothing about micro-evolution.

Jesus grow to be Jewish. Jews are semetic, meaning they have a tendency to be darker than caucasians yet lighter than black human beings. He grow to be what in the present day we could call "midsection eastern." Jerusalem is a midsection eastern city. certainly everyone tend to photograph Jesus in methods they could maximum suitable understand Him. i've got seen photos of Asian looking Jesuses, Hispanic looking Jesuses, Indian looking Jesuses and Black looking Jesuses. because of the fact I grew up interior the U. S., each and all the photographs I ever observed of Him had Him looking like a white man or woman, yet i grow to verify that He probable did no longer relatively look that way, because of the fact He grow to be Jewish.

Since I have gone to a Private Catholic School since second grade, I have always been taught that he was white. As my personal beliefs, I couldn't really decide. I wouldn't say he was black or white.

Jesus was a Jew. The Bible describes Him as "fair." That could mean fairly light skinned for a middle eastern Jew, or it could mean even lighter than that.
We don't know for certain, but the bottom line is that ... it doesn't matter. :-)

Neither. By genetic heritage... Jesus of Nazareth was Semitic. Olive-skinned is probably the best description..

The earliest picture of Jesus was done hundreds of years after he was supposed to have lived. Revelation describes him as having hair like wool and feet the colour of brass. Most Christian scholars ignore that bit, but as you might expect black Christians love it.
