Whenever I see "you will burn in Hell for your beliefs", I read it as "I am so insecure in my belief system that I must make you question yours as well."
Faith is not getting everyone to agree with you. Faith is believing you are right even if no one agrees with you.

All religions are the comparable in that they are illiberal of everybody who repudiates them. each faith places itself above different religions and teachings, and that is because of the fact all religions emerged from guy’s egoism. consequently in the back of the hatred between diverse religions and international locations. To as we talk, the religions are nevertheless preaching separation - and that's because of the fact they have been produced by ability of egoism. The religions appeared while human beings fell from love for one’s neighbor to hatred, from the religious point to the corporeal, egoistic one. this is while Judaism appeared, then Christianity, after which Islam.Even interior one faith, there is hatred between its diverse branches. inspite of each little thing, faith relies upon thoughts and interpretations approximately issues that undemanding human beings have in no way considered and would have faith in. And the theory is probably no longer in God, yet interior the individuals who tell them approximately Him, interior the way they describe Him and the conclusions they make. it is how each and all of the religions emerged. consequently, if we permit faith be our authority, we’ll finally end up with rules resembling those in Afghanistan practiced everywhere. Religions might have enjoyed to dictate their policies to the society continuously, and the only reason this ended become that egoism developed and the typical public become given a clean, scientific training. as a effect, as we talk religions and their policies are there to supplement the guidelines of the state and the society. for this reason the religions are so nerve-racking of real religious information - because of the fact this information famous the author to human beings, leaving no room for religious hypothesis a pair of divine reward and punishment for guy’s strikes, that's finished to intimidate the loads and extort issues from them. What Hell relatively is is the attractiveness that one’s egoism is evil, and disgrace for utilising it interior the present (no person is judged for the previous). Heaven is the sensation of satisfaction from being resembling the author, from intending to selfless bestowal and love. . The religions will ought to take their suitable place and stop suitable in some thing this is previous them – the soul and its correction. They don’t have a connection with the sunshine and the author as a manner to work together in this, and it is what we are witnessing as we talk by ability of the end results of religion’s result on human beings. In some places in we are able to verify the real essence of religion.

At my church, my pastor calls belief because of fear of hell "fire insurance." It's not the right reason to become a Christian, really.
Ah, but everybody would be terrified of hell if they understood it properly. Hell isn't the place bad people go to keep being bad, the Bible tell us hell is the place people go to burn alive without burning up, with nobody to comfort you... but you can hear billions of people screaming bloody murder all around you. The worst part is that you are not only separated from people, you are separated even from God. Before hell, God will hear your plea for true forgivness, but in hell, it's not a possibility for you.
That's basically it. Why wouldn't somebody be terrified of that picture? Or is it that you just don't believe in it? Seems like quite the gamble to me. Pascal's Wager.

God doesn`t say to live your life the way He wants you to.
God says to believe His word and ask to be saved.
His Word is that He sent His Son Jesus to become man and to die for your sins. And you are forgiven for all of your sins, but you must believe this and truly be sorry for sinning and ask for Jesus to come into your life and be your only saviour. Then
you will not enter into hell.
There is a heaven and there is a hell and when you die you will find this out. Do you want to wait until it is too late?

I think threatening others with hell is a good way to alienate them.
Since I don't view hell as a joke, and I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to go there, I don't threaten people with it.
Edit: I think there's a difference between warning people and threatening them.

True. Fears are not universal. Whoever made up the eternal burning thing was clever though because most people would indeed fear that if they thought it was true. They are mainly afraid NOT to believe. Very clever marketing.

Christians who tell you about hell aren't "threatening," sorry. They're warning you of the real certainty that will happen to anyone who dies unrepentant.
To NOT do so would be cruel and inhuman!
