Racist. I'm tired of them.

I was in France and saying bye to my BF in an airport. I was crying to be separated with him but I was still happy because he gave me secret present. I'm going to meet him again soon. Then I kissed him. But guys in the airport said bad things about gay right behind of me and him when I was saying bye and crying at the last.

Those people include Racist never be gone. They make me sad every time.

Gays can't be live happy. Many people still hate gay. They make me sad. That's the truth we don't want to know. right?

My cousin works for a Mormon think tank. They come up with ideas to bring people into their religion. I have noticed that on some questions there seem to be several Mormons answering the question. Are you missionaries?

I have been to some church groups, meetings and Bible studies where the pastor/reverand and other church members make fun of homosexuals and believers of other religions. I have often heard some say that they will "Pray for these Non-Christians", and that they'll "pray for those who don't believe". It's like if you do not believe the norm in orthodox religion, or if you do not subscribe to a particular belief, you are damned and going to hell. This is my personal problem with organized religion, particularly Christianity.

I admit, I am still trying to decipher everything and find my true spiritual place, but I think of myself as a Christian and believe in God, I just have a problem with many of the things they say in Chruch and some Christian books.

Personally, I do not think that is is "Christian" to make fun of those who are different, or condemn people who do not believe as you do. What are your thoughts?

I am partially deaf and work in an office. I often miss out on what's going on around the office as I don't hear what's going on. I have mentioned this to my manager as well as HR - this is important work related issues as well as social events - but we've not been able to come up with a solution. Unless someone specifically comes up and mentions it to me, if I've got my head down, I don't hear.

Does anyone else have this problem and if so, how do they deal with it?

Thanks

one says "Zion" - Woody Allen is driving; one says "Heaven" - a dirty old bum is driving; one says "American Idol tryouts" - a priest is driving. Which do you ride and why? If you choose not to ride, you have to walk 100 miles in 100 degree heat.

Let's face it. Most of us don't have any experience of real persecution. Do you honestly think that having someone laugh at your beliefs dislike you for them is persecution? When was the last time you were executed (ha) or beaten for your beliefs?

That's what I thought.

Recognize how good you have it - after all, you're using a computer right now - and GET OVER THIS PETTINESS.

Recognize that more than just your own little group is being persecuted in this world. You think you can single your ideas out as being the most disrespected? I don't think so.

And for you Christians SPECIFICALLY, recognize that, when Jesus spoke of persecution, he didn't mean people who just disagree with you. Recognize that he and those like him didn't waste time whining: they were too busy loving. Recognize that their suffering and persecution stemmed from their choice to live among the dejected, the impoverished, the ones who really suffer.

Mainly you find yourself defending or arguing with the Atheists that is why I see so many christians leaving this site.

I asked Atheists many questions, not to fire an attack twoards them but to see how they see the world and people.

You can't even talk about current world events and how they pertain to scripture or End Times without being attacked from all sides of Unbelievers.

Is this site becoming a Site for Atheists and Pagans because I see less and less Christian and even jewish and muslim posters?

To all religious denominations (particularly Christians): Do you think it is possible to have a personal relationship with God, yet denounce organized religion?

For example, do you think it is possible to pray regularly, read the Bible and embrace a personal relationship with the Lord, but not go to Church on a regular basis, disagree with some pastor's or reverand's teachings, and/or not be part of a particular religious denomination?

It is always interesting that there are people who use that term "God's army", why would an all powerful being need an army? The reason why I brought this up is that someone had mentioned that trash called "Jesus Camp" and knowing nothing about it, I went to the site and it mentioned the children being brainwashed into being part of God's army. So does that mean that God is no longer all powerful and he needs an army? Because he certainly does nothing here on the planet to make it seem like he has power at all, except for some book (the Bible) which a 3rd grade child could have written.
