To believe and have faith without seeing takes courage and strength.

Christians, do you agree? Do you struggle with your faith at times?

My grandpa died this year and my little baby cousin who is 5 years old said that she saw grandpa lying down in the room smiling at us. She knows grandpa is in heaven but why did she see him in the house still? She said he was wearing black pants and white shirt. But he looks happy and noone else saw him but her. why do kids see things like this? She was a little afraid of him. Her little 2 year old sister too said she saw grandpa at church, she said that he gave her a hug. she was down the basement for his funeral, how could she know that grandpa was there? We feel like he's still around, he's trying to contact us, many people in my family have seen him in their dreams. He keeps saying that he's hungry to each person that he visits in their dreams. How could this be possible, how do we even feed the dead when they are already gone?

I truly don't believe that my God would have a fiery, devil ridden hole to suffer in for all of eternity like the nuns led us to believe(while slapping our hands with a ruler)

Okay, everybody has its right to believe in a higher creature, be that what it is. But I can't understand why christians doubt the evolution theory. Why would someone ignore all the science, and support a theory based on a book, written 2000 years ago?

We've already seen people in the Middle East kill themselves for their religion. It seems to me that Christians here are ready to die and kill for their faith. Doesn't this seem like a volatile issue that needs to be addressed now, rather than when it's too late?

Terror isn't a country or a people. It's a tactic! It's kind of like trying to fight a war on snipers.

You know I was thinking. If Moses was the last Isrealite involved in the exodus from Egypt, wouldn't that give him a free pass to re-write history however he wished. His stories tell of magic, and truly improbable scenarios. After his death things get a little more believable. Most of the stories after fit pretty good within the guidelines of our current view of reality.

It's a tad predictable. It would have been fairly simple to make heroes out of our protagonists by presenting a (somewhat) implausible situation whereby they overcome the central conflict of the story (Satan, the antagonist).

Curiously, the authors (again) elected to have God intervene, a lazy technique used frequently in the tale. Instead of employing some character development, the good guys in this story are abruptly snatched up by God, out of harm's way, literally a deus ex machina.

This is the supreme cop-out in the writing establishment. Would even a high school creative writing teacher accept such a conspicuous plot device for closure?
