How comes heavey metallers/goths with horror imagery are largley peaceful and rap fans often support thug culture?

Ie look at heavey metal clothing and there is a strong association with horror imagry on films...

Often in songs too...

But in clubs you are perfectly safe the worst risk being bounced around a dance floor mosh pit like a wild bouncy castle game.

With them often loving music and creative areas. Many becoming teachers or youth leaders

you get hurt everyone looks out for you.

Yet if you look at cultures surrounding garage, rap, jungle music etc.

There appears to be a 'respect' dominance culture where vicious fights are common over nothing, with respect for gang culture, mugging, guns, calling girls bitches, lack of contraception, pecking orders etc...

Whilst the only time you here of heavey metallers or goths truning violent its after extream long term abuse and bullying till they snap.

Why is that?

As an atheist I feel a bit left out, Christians have their crucifix, Muslims have their gear, Jews have their hats and curly hair, Rastas have their dreadlocks etc etc etc.
I have no objection to any of these forms of recognition, just feel a bit left out thats all. What shall we have??
No chance of any 'nice' answers I suppose? Thought not.

I think the only option for transgendered people is to transition as early as possible. Maybe at age 9 or There is no point in going through life looking like a man in a dress. It's dangerous, both financially, physically and emotionally. I say the state should take the option of transition out of the hands of the parents. Have ever child assessed and if they are found to be transgendered start them on hormones right away even without the parents consent. There are too many late transitioners out, I'm just being real, who look like and sound like freaks. I would definitely vote to pass a law that all transgendered children be allowed to start transition even without the parents consent?
What do you guys think of this law?

I heard this song somewhere, and it was kinda insightful, Sleepy Head by Jason Lo. I'll post the lyric here and perhaps you can tell what you think of this song.

Yet again we crucify,
we build it up and let it die,
We bomb Japan because we can,
Just so our sons and daughters have a better life,
Millenium has come and gone but it’s the same,
I take the blame in joining you in doing absolutely nothing,
The world goes round another time,
No, you can’t stop it but you can change your mind,

Love everybody.

So here we are, the morning after 9/11,
It’s a shame so many people never lived,
But then again who really does?
You do your tax and pay your bills and watch,
The war to get your thrills on CNN,
And just pretend that this is not your fault again,
I realize you make amends by being good to all your friends,
But in the end there’s only you,
And He will judge you too.

I don't have too much time for some of the stranger aspects of Christianity. But as an individualist and an agnostic who has read the bible, I have to say that every word and deed attributed to Jesus Christ himself seems humanistic and progressive. Indeed, I consider him to have been very psychological developed man and a socially responsible human being.

What do you guys think?

Thanx to those of you who told me that the unforgiveable sin is Blasphemy against the Holy spirit. But what is that? Can someone explain for me please?

Thank you

evolution takes millions of years to see any slight changes, so it can't be proven wrong yet, and it is deemed to be correct since its not proven wrong yet. evolution is also not fully supported by evidence for all its assumptions, hence its a hypothesis still, not yet in its thesis stage. therefore, evolution theory is just as good as other religions are(u cant disprove nor prove it). hence, the evolutionists voicing their opinions here, in this religion section, instead of being scientific about it in the science section(because they arent science). correct?

I hate valentines day. I have a girlfriend, and am massively in love, and she knows this every single day. I'm good to her, we go out a lot, have a great sex life, and I buy her presents and flowers in spontaneous gestures. This is what I don't like about valentines day now. You're told to be romantic, even if just for one night. Every chav Kev in the country for one night becomes what I am for 365, a great boyfriend, then it's back to treating them like cr@p and cheating on them. I just detest it, and my grilfriend knows that although I'll be with her that night, I won't be buying her a card or taking her out to dinner, not because I'm tight, only last week I went back to a shop and bought her a £299 handbag that she liked, because I love her, but because I hate the idea of this day now!

Yes, you can, and they have some of the best fornication you could ever imagine! All the best fornicators throughout history await you to satisfy your deepest, darkest, physical urges, and nothing is taboo, too wild or too scary. Hell is the best place to go for fornication, they don't have it at all in that other place, so why go anywhere else?
