It is sad that people are losing their jobs at the Burberry factory, but why do these people think that working for a company for a whole lot of years entitles them to a job for life?

Do these people not think to themselves at any time 'What happens if I lose my job?' 'What other options do I have if the worst comes to the worst?' etc. etc.

Looking forward to seeing what you all think.

I have a propsal. Since we have a Black History Month, which I support, how about a White History month. This will put a final solution to this long debated race issue. To celebrate some WHITE celebritys with a little PRIDE. This is my struggle to end the race issue once and for all.
HEy, I don't want to start any loLling wars here. HITLER won't rise again.

Hey I'm just 14, but i believe i should've been born in 88. I am not a racist at all.

It was directed at the people that ask questions like did Jesus commit suicide because there weren't enough kids to molest.-actual question. was Jesus' death a publicity stunt-actual question. I have nothing against honest debate or sharing. I was directing my question to the rediculous ones. They serve no purpose. I know non-believers aren't all nasty people. I know alot of believers are nasty people. It's just there are getting to be more stupid nasty things in here than honest debate. That's what I was getting at.

Seriously? Isn't it crazy that we're actually having this debate? South Africa recently passed a county wide recognition of gay marriages. This is South Africa for crying out loud. Apartheid only ended in that country like 10 years ago.

The other day, Algebrand and I were bemoaning the fact that we were both decidedly middle aged-and grumpy to boot!. I said to Algebrand: 'there is nothing we can do about it so you might as well accept the fact (case closed, I thought).

'Actually you are wrong', Algebrand said, (with a feverish mad-scientist look in his goaty eyes), 'I was looking through the 'Boys Own' annual from 1936, and I think I have found a recipe for eternal life'. With little more ado (accept for a hop and a jump) Algebrand proceeded to ladle out a spoonful of the foul and miasmic brew that he had been boiling on the kitchen hob.

Before I had a chance to remonstrate with him, Algebrand had swallowed the lot. 'That was good', Algebrand said, before turning green and scaly. 'How do I look', said Alge? 'Like a prince in waiting', I replied. 'Ribbit', said Alge, 'ribbit...ribbit...

I just saw this on an episode of Xena, and who knows how accurate that is? :) She was talking to Hades and he told her that he only took the dead Greeks. I found that interesting. Has anyone studying Greek Mythology ever heard that one?? I thought most other god stories included everyone, not just regional people.

All living things should be able to live life freely wether it be the smallest thing like and ant, the largest, like a whale, a plant that grows in your house or garden, the rain forests ( the list goes on) or even down to the simplest thing like you or me. so why do some people actually think that they can own it?

In the 90's one of the biggest issues was abortion, pro-life v.s. pro-choice activists outside the clinics with signs and all that. Now that that issue has somewhat been weened off society, the gay marriage debate is the "in" issue. Homo/heterosexuals stand outside the church (so to speak) demanding rights. Basically making gay marriage the new abortion of the millenium.
