what does the word seerat mean.. i heard it means life but i want to make sure

well, i m urdu speaking, and SEE-RAT means the character, if u have good character/ attitude u will b termed as ACHI SEERAT. i dont think its means life.
...and ALLAH knows the best:)

Seerat means good, correct way of life and character.
