Well, he was the Son of GOD, that kind of gives him the right to think that his death could save the whole world.

What Jesus did had nothing to do with ego. he was doing the will of his father. he did nothing in his own name but in his fathers name. and he suffered dearly for his efforts to save us. watch the passons of Christ it shows excactly what Jesus went through for us.

You fail to see that it was God that sent his Son to die for our sins, Jesus had enough ego & guts about him that he lay down his life for all sinners, How big is your ego about yourself

He didn't. That is a theological interpretation of His death. Jesus Himself was a very humble person.

It wasn't His ego. He was the Son of God and knew from childhood what his mission on earth would be.

i dont think he had much of a choice
he wasn't saying please crucify me
but his Crucifixion was supposedly prophecised and had to happen anyway
so whether you believe this or not .... it isn't Jesus with an ego
