i personally believe that there is no "place" for evil...my inner-spirit tells me that evil will just cease to exist upon death. please share your thoughts on this.

To my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ,

I write to you in the same way I have written to the atheists and nonbelievers that use this forum or around the world, without out pretext or agenda but with curiosity, love and a desire to see peace in this world.


We live in precarious times, a world in turmoil, unmentionable suffering, the weight of sin, one needs only look into the last lines of the book of Judges to get a glimpse of the state of our world.

The sad truth is we are as much to blame for the mess this world is in as anybody. We have a part and historically have had a part in the problems and challenges of the world.

I will admit I am struggling to understand and grasp where we are as believers in this world and what our role and responsibility really is. What I have seen in this forum and in my life is troublesome. Because I have seen and read the hypocrisy of many believers who carry with them as much malice, hate, spite and conceit as many of the nonbeliever

My husband wants to become one. He says it was just a thought but I know him. Will it hurt are marriage to do this? The thought of hot guys oh yes I would go for it but not if it is going to pull us a part.

I am interested in verifying some religious stories in a book that was published in 1963. I think the author has died by now. They cover a huge range of tribes in North and South America and Polynesia, including the Navajo, Mescallero Apaches, Oraibi, and Dakotah. Or if you know of some good websites that would be helpful as well.

I first want to apologize for the behavior of many of my Christian brothers and sisters through out the world. Not that my apology may mean anything to you or will it make up for injustices which have been done.

Here’s what I know, I know many Christians can be overzealous, putting it mildly, in pursuing and spreading their faith. I know of the hypocrisy in which their lives do not come close to reflecting their profession of faith. I know how the make outsiders feel far from welcome. I know they oppress, hate, demonstrate malice, indifference, towards anyone who does not share their belief. If you have experienced this I apologize. I am truly sorry.

I'm always putting myself down whenever I want to go up to someone and meet them. I always tell myself things like "they have enough friends, leave them alone, they're not talking to you for a reason" and "don't waste their time" and "you'll bore them or make them uncomfortable; don't be a burden"...

...I was wondering if writing them a simple not with a Hi-ish theme and just basically introduce myself, try to be the cute-funny, and just have a "I want to meet you but too shy to go up to you" line in there would work? Or is writing notes and giving them to people an extinct form of communication and, even more, be scary to strangers?

so today i was driving to work with my friend in the car. My phone went do the seat next to her leg. we were sporadically talking when I went to reach for my phone when i noticed where it was. So I purposefully rubbed my hand against her outer thigh while grabbing my phone. She didn't move her leg or anything. i told her sorry and that I was getting my phone and not trying to cop a feel. She laughed really loud, which is not what I thought she was going to do. I thought she was going to just say it's okay. But she didn't, she just laughed. so when I finished up with my phone I placed it back next to her leg while touching her again but acting like I was obvlivious. Do you think she knew I did it on purpose? What was she thinking?

would you go to hell given you're a Muslim as your parents and your society? There are millions of people in Muslim countries who don't know about other religions until much later in life, and obviously won't believe it cause it is some other religion. Is this fair? Does your God call this Just?

my question is: Why would anyone go to so much work to make everyone dislike them so much? To even put themselves at risk of jailtime or lawsuits? Why? What's in it for them? Are they just masochistic? Starved for attention? I just don't get it.

It is amazing that I have a talent for having a good ear and can speak in different accents. I called up British Airways and they thought I was from England. I called up Qantas and they thought I was from Australia. When I called Air France they said my accent is good. I was born in the US. I can even do a Texan lady or male.Is this a rare talent? I'm pretty good with the Indian and Chinese accents too.Would I make a good actor? Any ideas how I can speak in different accents?

One night a few years ago I heard a womans voice speak to me and it said to ask her whatever I wanted- so I asked to feel Gods love (i wasnt practicing any magic or anything it just happened) and then up from my floor boards I saw a huge figure of what looked like Jesus come up and hover over my room he filled up my whole room and then it left thru the ceiling then a moment later I sawa black shadow come thru my mirror and land next to my bed the shadow was shaped like a person and it reached its hand out to me and I was about to take its hand but I had a bad feeling so I didnt then the shadow took a few steps back and transformed into an ogre looking thing alot like shrek but mean and it talked to me and was angry with me and began stamping its feet like a bull and said it was mad for what I did and I rebuked it in Jesus name. Can anyone explain this or has anyone experianced anything like this?
