I have a co-worker who I don't know very well. At a meeting before we got started, another co-worker brought up the racist comments of Michael Richards. My co-worker who is the only black person serving on this team, voiced how glad she was that someone finally brought it up and she complained to her friends that no one asked her opinion or discussed it with her at work. I'd like to start a discussion with her about a recent arrest and sentencing of a white college student who used racial slurs and then stabbed a black college student and how it has affected the community. Is does seem incredibly wrong and unnatural when these awful racist issues arise and it's not discussed with those who suffer it. My question is, what is the most sensitive way to do this?

We have a "Mad Crapper" at our office. Who ever it is must eat healthy because they leave us a nice surprise in the bowl on a regular basis. We are trying to come up with a funny term to call it... like how "Dirty Sanchez", and "The Shocker" have become house hold names. The funniest reply will get the best answer. Thanks!

What if a man, such as myself, offered to God a challenge for control of the universe?

Would God show up? If God didn't show up, would I therefore win this challenge, and thus be the controller of the universe?

What would be an approrpriate venue? Would a game of chess be appropriate? Or how about a wrestling match, like in the Bible when God wrestled a human being?

I challenge God to such a match, and suggest it be a beer drinking contest.

I suggest tonight at my house at 8PM, for control of the universe.

Do you have any thoughts on my proposal to God?

I just wanted to ask this again, since mentioning anything involving being a Christian or Pro Life seems to be against Yahoo's community standards.

I also think sanctity of Life includes careful review, and maybe elimination, of the death penalty. You can't pick and choose who lives and who dies.

recent reports that 'Britishness' includes -
(1) Being the fattest people in Europe
(2) Having a reputation for being obnoxious especially when young and abroad (which links to)
(3) Having an inability to control our alcohol intake (no matter what hours the pubs open)
(4) Watching too many hours of fatuous soap operas, 'reality TV shows', house makeover /sell the crap from your attic/'Emigrate (from the UK) to the Sun' programmes - EVERY DAY!
(5)Having an increasingly worrisome pre-occupation with the concept of 'celebrity'
(6)Still thinking naked women in a daily (so-called)newspaper, and 'publications' like 'Nuts', 'Chat' and other 'brain-dead' gossip magazines are 'worth buying'!!!!!
...That maybe we DON'TWANT our kids to learn about being 'British'!

Don't you think that it's hypocritical that a person who says they are Pro-Life will murder the doctor that performs the abortion.

I'm not saying that all, or even a majority of pro-lifers do that, but the few who do...isn't that just hypocritical? I mean it's silly it's like "hey I'm Pro-life, and let me prove it by murdering this doctor". Does that make sense to anyone??

And I'm not trying to start a debate here on abortion itself, that's not the issue here.

Just wondering how someone who is so pro life can justify murdering anyone, or why they feel that they have the right to say who should live and who shouldn't.

I think in this day in age we have become too politically correct and people have lost any sense of humour. Life is far too serious these days and people need to get a life! In relation to the Jade Goody thing, bulling I cannot stand racisim I cannot, but how can we define it as people take offence at different things.
