Don't you think that it's hypocritical that a person who says they are Pro-Life will murder the doctor that performs the abortion.

I'm not saying that all, or even a majority of pro-lifers do that, but the few who do...isn't that just hypocritical? I mean it's silly it's like "hey I'm Pro-life, and let me prove it by murdering this doctor". Does that make sense to anyone??

And I'm not trying to start a debate here on abortion itself, that's not the issue here.

Just wondering how someone who is so pro life can justify murdering anyone, or why they feel that they have the right to say who should live and who shouldn't.

Yes, it is hypocritical. Few people are that extreme, I think - I mean extreme enough to want to kill doctors.

It is the same with the death penalty. Usually people way on the "right" politically are against abortion, but for the death penalty. It all comes down, then, to "why" you want to kill someone. Many people think it is ok to kill, for the right reasons (murderer, rapist, etc.). Of course, most people do indeed think there are some good reasons to kill - self-defense comes to mind.

It is rare, in the media at least, to find someone who doesn't apply this "why" test - either they are ok with both abortion and the death penalty, or they are against both and value all life period.

Well considering that the number of actual murders are extremely small compared to the number of people that are pro-life; I would not waste too much time pondering it.

Man is still an aggressive animal and experiences time when violent behavior seems called for. Most of us can control these urges, but sadly there are those that do not.

On the other hand, you *could* rationalize the murder as saving countless innocent and defenseless babies from being killed...
