A man captures a leprechaun. He demands that the leprechaun reveal the location of his hidden wealth. The leprechaun leads him into a small forest to the exact tree where the treasure was buried beneath. The man ties a red ribbon around the tree and and tells the leprechaun not to remove the ribbon while he goes to fetch a shovel. When he returns he finds that the leprechaun has infact left the ribbon on the tree. however the leprechaun has tied a red ribbon around every tree in the forest.

I believe you saw something that -to you and your boyfriend- looked like a leprechaun. I have no reasons to doubt about what you say. There are many things in this world that we do not know yet.

i dunno, but my grandma in Ireland used to tell a very convincing story of a leprechaun looking up at her from a canal bank - she said they had eye contact then he disappeared......I'd love to believe it's true ;)
