I have seen to many examples of younger people being disrespectful to the elderly. Did they forget these people fought in wars, lived through the depression and have more knowledge than they are given credit for? I understand that there are situations where older people are rude, but I think you should still respect your elders. What do you think can be done to close the gap between old and young??

Right now I have a good life, I'm marrie and have a beautiful, I have a good job and making lots of money, and I know I should be thankful, but after all this priest with child molestation, and all this questions about the bible that it was written 2 yrs after christ, and that it has been change lots of times, and I just got to the point where I just don't know who our truly GOD is, I don't know his name or how we wants us to live, and I feel like I lost a friend, I always tell myself that I need to get closer to him and I just keep ignoring myself, and I haven't been to church in more than 4 yrs. Please Help.

As of 01-01-07, I began a strict Kosher only diet. I researched how a Kosher priest cuts the fat as he blesses the food. I'm not sure if he is cutting fatty chunks off the meat or removing the fat out of eggs. Regardless, does the Kosher priest not realize he could be the next icon in the weight loss business? Does anyone know exactly what he does to reduce the fat & calorie content in the food he blesses?

You know I'm not knocking gay people at all! As a matter of fact I get along with them quite well because they're real and down to earth. But they have a lot of say on this website. I as a straight woman would just like to put in writing that I love you men! I love you men to death! For so many reasons! There are times I want to ring your necks but I always want to screw it right back on again. Not to mention a few other ways I like to..... well......you know...... But ladies tell me, why do you love men? Whether it be your husband, boyfriend or lover? I sum up describing my boyfriend as the Bomb! And I love my man very much! I've noticed that certain universal truths permeate throughout all belief systems (religions, philosophies, sciences) in a certain shape or form. For instance, most belief systems share the view that what goes around comes around.

In Buddhism and Hinduism it's considered karma (more or less)

In Christianity it's called "what you sew is what you'll reap"

In Physics it's called "for every action there is a single and oposite reaction"

In Wicca it's called "what you do will return to you times three".

For this reason I consider the concept of reciprocity as a universal truth. My question to all of you is can share any others that permeated thru out all or most beliefs? I'd like to put together a list. You're help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I live in DC and I have a neighbor who lives in the apartment next to me, and he has parties from Sunday throught Saturday (I am not joking about this). These parties somtimes lasts unitl 5 or 6 am.His music is so loud that it causes his speakers to vibrate and the vibration comes through my bedroom walls, and I can't sleep during the night. I have spoken to him several times and have asked him to turn the volume down; he would turn the volume down for awhile, but afterwards he would turn the volume up again disturbing my sleep. I have gone to the landlord and complained, even though the landlord would speak to my neighbor about this, he would still play his music very loud. Last weekend, I called the police and filed a complaint, the police came to the apartment building and asked him to turn the music down. He did turn the music down and I could hear him making rude comments towards me. I am tired of waking up in the morning with headaches because of lack of sleep.

Ok I have this good relationship with my old best friend he was gay or bi and we ended up getting together he says he loves me …. I went for the relationship and now I have been trying for a 3-some he does not want to…. But told me that in the future we could go and do our thing and then come home to the same bed … what do you think about this? I asked him if we could do it know because I am a very open minded person and he said no not now later ... i need some input asap
