im white and i recently moved to san fran from tennessee. many many asians out here. they all seem so smart. I feel less smart then them. why is that? is it because in tn i hung out with mostly black people (who are dumber than whites) or is it true.

No race is smarter or dumber than any other race.
We are all given intelligence, and it depends on what we do with that intelligence that shows ''smartness''.

Well you're Right Asians are the Brains in the race World, why not Asians make up 75% of the High-Tech/Corporate workforce 22% White, 2% Black, 1% Hispanic, because they got the Training back Home in Japan, China, Korea, India, and Pakistan, better training then anywhere in the US.
To be in the High-Tech/Computer Business you gotta having the Intelligence and the Training to be be in this Field and its True that Asians and some White People too,got the Intelligence and training, that's why you have to be successful.

hmm im asian and thats a big stereotype. i believe that it is their own culture and religion.. and their custom, mostly its becuz of the asian parents, who force their kids to learn at a very young age and thats all they focus on. no boyfriends/girlfriends, going out doing naughty things blah blah blah.. its all school work, go to school, get ahead, be successful.. and then maybe get married. u can ask any asian.. chinese vietnamese koreans.. maybe even indians.. most would give you the same answer. blame it on the parents. haha (=

The capacity to learn is within you. Asians exercise their minds like nobody business. Some make it their lifelong journey to push their minds until it hurts. Remember, your mind is a muscle. If you don't use it, you'll lose it.

Yes, as a matter of fact, they are. I am taking Japanese, so of course I deal with an Asian individual on a daily basis. The reason why they are smarter than us is that the are not troubled by trivial things that some Americans are. And anyone who thinks that they are not, just look at who is about to claim the number one spot in automotive engineering: Honda or Toyota.

Yeah, so why so many starving in Asia???? Why so many so poor and trampled under foot if they are the smartes race????
Maybe they are more aware of what they have in the US and put it to good use unlike us Natives who take everything for granted and ***** and moan when we get a hang nail. Maybe they aren't as spoiled as other Americans.

they are not smarter in their culture they are just used to work harder and study harder, so there is a very tough competition between them, thats what makes them push themselves harder to be better than others
