Sin is a constant problem for each and every one of us. It may not be feared but it must be conquered each and every day. Our FATHER has told us that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD." This is a concern for all of us. Prayer is a must for every Christian. GOD is there to assist as we need HIM.

To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.

Yes, the truth. It is not their fault, however. They have been conditioned and indoctrinated to accept that the source, and the only source of truth is the bible. All answers that are not addressed in the bible have no value to them. It becomes "mysterious" and unknowable. It also creates fear of anyone who may have information from another source, because they have been trained to believe that other sources are demonic. This inhibits the natural tendency to quesiton. Their thinking becomes extremely narrow, because they are limited to what can be ascertained from a corrupted text. Yes, finding the truth shall defeat the fear.

They better be afraid that God doesn't exist in the way they see him to exist. Putting all your faith in one religion, which isnt even the oldest religion, does NOT make it the right religion. I would also fear contradiction in the bible, fear people taking money in the lords name, fear a RELIGION that covers up child rape... Fear you never being able to live up to Gods standards, fear that Allah could be the right God, or Buddha, or any of the countless others. Fear your leaders leading you wrong. Fear the Pope being a bitter old man... you have allot to fear. But, its a good thing you have blind faith. Cuz blind faith sure takes away the pain of thinking for yourself.

Christians are afraid of one thing and one thing only. the same thing all faith groups are afraid of.

Being wrong.

Imagine after a life time of belief in the teachings of your faith; secure in the knowledge that you are being watched over and cared for by a loving God, the surety of eternal life in Paradise when you die, then you suddenly discover that your religion is a fabrication, based on superstition and deceit.

The fear is that irrefutable proof will emerge that disproves the existence of a God / Gods.

Of course if any such proof were to appear it would be denied absolutely by those who prefer blind faith to reality

They're afraid of death, obviously, or they wouldn't have to have this big "afterlife" fantasy. They're afraid of living without their delusions, because they think that would just be a big horrible spiritual void, and what would be the point of living without their "faith"? They're afraid of their own deities, and enjoy telling each other and everyone else how those deities feel and think and treat those who disobey, and they're afraid of science, which debunks the myths in their Big Big Book.

Yes we are. That is human nature. But that is why God says over 500 times in the Bible "Fear not" and " Do not be afraid".

Fear... they shouldn't be afraid of anything- they think there is an afterlife.

If I believed in an afterlife, I would be trying to die right now.

We are told not to fear. The Word teaches "if God is for us, who can be against us." The answer of course is nobody. God is more than able to protect Christians.
