can you be a good person and still have a dark mind set. i am a christian goth and i get talked about because you cant be dark and still love God. this is very confusing. please help

Everyone has a darkside and for any Christian to say otherwise shows they don't believe in their Bible like they claim. I wonder what they think it means when it says "all have sinned/all have fallen short".
Darkness does not always equal evil. We all have a dark/shadow side and it shouldn't be ignored or repressed. It should be accepted and worked with... otherwise a person could end up depressed or even worse.
The people talking about you really should watch what they are doing before they get labelled gossipmongers.

No body no matter their intentions is fully good no matter how hard they try. That is why your religion teaches you Jesus had to die for your sins. The whole world is full of grey areas, I am a goth and do not believe that leaves me devoid of good intentions or love just because I listen to an overly melodramatic star like marylin manson. You just condemmed every Goth to being truly evil beings - do you really think that? Goodness isnt reserved for virgins or pastors

I don't understand the whole Christian Goth thing, but its not like I care... people do what they do because they do.
good and evil light and dark good and bad.... these words mean little or nothing to me. They're matters of opinion. Praising the lord, dressing in black and wearing makeup might fetch some negative attention from Christians and Goths alike, but if you like it it can't be bad, right?

A Christian, is a Christian, is a Christian! God is the only one who can judge what you are. So if you say that you are a christian goth then I believe that you are a christian Goth! Who are we to judge? Sorry some people are just ignorant!

You are judged by what comes forth from you not what goes into you (for lack of a better term) which has nothing to do with your physical appearance or choice of attire. I assume goth is a fashion statement for you so I'd advise you check it's origins and make an informed choice.

No you can not be Christian goth,The occult,the darkness of goth is opposite of Christian.Dark
and light can not mix

Yes I'm sure u can. I knew 2 Christain Goths. They were very interesting people. I have a dark mind set myself at times like right now.

Its best to avoid stereotyping yourself. So you like some things from goth culture. Well I like some things from Jamaican culture, that certainly doesn't make me a Jamaican (I'm American). It certainly doesn't mean I can't like reggae or certain parts of the typical Jamaican mindset.
Whoever is telling you that you can't worshop god and still like some of the goth things is immature. Just ignore it and be yourself.
Anyway who is saying that a dark mind did not create hell or send famine? God is not all flowers and sunbeams.

God created both the light and the dark, the good and the evil. There are unlimited varieties of people, and all of them serve God according to their purposes. You have your qualities, and I have my qualities, but in both cases, the qualities are given by God. God doesn't distinguish between these qualities, because He isn't dual, He's absolute. We distinguish dualities such as good and bad in order to regulate our behavior, but if you are surrendering to God, there is no good and bad, light or dark.
