In my view the older a religion the better because it has proven affective at providing it's believers with moral stability and wealth in spirit. And the drive to fight off invaders

I recently fall in love with Christian girl, who is compatible in hobbies, interests, age and etc. but the problem lies our religious. I'am willing to accepting her for who she is but she do not feel it's right for a Christian to start a relationship with non-Christian. She influenced by this statement which her sisters in church emphasise. But how true is it, does a pair of lovers get separated from each other just because of different religious. Isn't that no different from people of different races can't be with each other. Do I really have to become give up my root religious just because I love her very much. How can I convinced her, when she reading up on stories that is only one-sided. I believe that cases like this does occur for some.

in the sense that have u ever felt very happy after receiving the Holy Spirit and u felt ever so radiant? i accepted the Holy Spirit last week (not for the first time...but the previous times i never really thought abt it) ...and when i went to school i felt so happy and as if i was filled with joy the whole day...i read the book 'power in praise' by merlin carothers and it really changed my outlook on everything.so how many of u have also read his books and how many of u have seen the Holy Spirit working in ur life?

I am used to buying gifts for friends, relatives, children, its just my nature. I have been buying several gifts for my lover and I really don't expect him to do the same to me, one day he asked me why I am fond of buying him gifts. I explained that its just my nature and I feel thats one way of expressing my love. I don't know if he appreciates them at all, am I just wasting my money or I should carry on doing what pleases me?

Mothers - would you use a service to provide you with help when you are too busy or ill to cope?

You have a migraine and all you want to do is sleep. The kids need picking up, dinner needs making, clothes ironed, house tidies etc etc. What about if there was an emergency home help service where someone could come in and do all those chores for you for a day to let you sleep and recover. You would pay a monthly subscription , like you do to the AA or RAC. You would provide a 'bible' of information on the workings of the house etc etc etc which you would provide to the company which i am calling at the moment 'Home Angels'. Obviously the home help would be screened for suitability and would be trustworthy.

Good idea?

please don't tell me he knows whats best for us, or we may not pray for the right thing, if he promised it in the bible, he should deliver it. Otherwise God should just state 'I will give you what I think is the best for you' or ' your prayers will not be answered because they are not good for you'.. why promise??

Whenever someone asks me how i like the newest 20 something beauty sensation in movies or somewhere else my response is almost always the same. She is beautiful but she is lacking something. I see it when I compare, let's say, Jessica alba to Angelina Jolie. The younger girl is missing something. I sometimes think that maybe part of it is that femininity is becoming more childlike. So what do you think. Do you feel like many of these early 20 something beauties lack the female charisma of women in times and decades past.

I don't think I can ever trust another person in my life ever again. I have been tricked and deceived so many times in the past, and yet I never seem to learn the lesson that most people aren't trustworthy. What is wrong with me? I'm a good person at heart and I abide the laws and I don't find fault with people. I don't understand why these things always happen to me. Even an online "friend" suffering from spina-bifida stopped writing when I told her that I'm not living in Los Angeles. We weren't special friends, just online friends, so why is she behaving like this? I can't stand all of these!

Now before you guys jump behind that impenetrable wall of blatant idiotic denial, read some of the numerous belief structures of your fellows. To name but a few, I’ve read many, many examples of differing interpretations of the seven day creation story and there are even those of who understand evolution and somehow weave it into their beliefs so that they may maintain their faith. Of course, 100 + years ago, the bible was taken literally and if the “Christians” here were heard to say what they say, they would’ve been severely dealt with by their fellows.

People’s interpretations change as knowledge and technology increases. So therefore, the reign of Christianity is not infinite. Yeah, yeah?
