Yesterday while my girlfriend & I were on the BART train, a woman in her late 50's approached us waving a bible in our faces and ranting & raving about "God doesnt condone this" BLAH BLAH BLAH. We weren't even doing anything!! I was listening to my ipod and my girlfriend was resting her head on my shoulder. So it's not like we were having sex on the damn train. What was the point?
I politely told her to get the hell outta my face before my stilletto heel landed sumwhere she wouldnt like it to be.
What would you have done or what have u done in similar situations?

I have an Aunt(who also is a drug addict) who recently asked if I was following the "right" religion, after she saw a Quran and a book on buddhism on my counter. I did get offended; but I didn't act out on it and simply said I don't believe my spiritual beliefs are anyones business but my own. I then took out my anger on you guys here, by asking ridiculous questions and getting you angry also, lol. I like to spread the love, yo!!!!!!!!!!!

If 95% of people go to hell, aren't you taking an incredible risk by bringing a child into existence? And if your answer is that as Christian parents you can help your child on the right path, wouldn't it be more ethical to adopt a child who already exists and save them rather than bring a new one into existence?

A lot of speculation is speading around the world, especially because of that"fictional" account from the book "the Da Vinci Code. I want to know how it would affect your faith. Would you continue to believe? Would it shake your faith. What would it lead you to feel or believe differently?

Whenever I'm in a public bathroom, someone will go into a stall and flush BEFORE they even sit down! I know there's nothing wrong with the toilet (as in, it NEEDS to be flushed) because I saw it before I chose my stall. Is there some secret toilet-disease I don't know about that I might get if I don't flush BEFORE I use it??

Consider this...

God is eternal. Eternity is essientally the absense of time. So God is not bound by time.

We are.

So, since God is eternal, every moment that we perceive is merely 'now' to him.

Right now, God sees what we are doing, what we've done, and what we will do, all right now.

From point A to point Z, it is all how we perceive 'now.'

Really, with God, there is no 'seeing into the future.' Why? Because there is no future with God, only now.

That's why he is the I Am. Not the was or will be. He is. He is eternal.

When you understand this concept some of the biblical ideas makes more sense.

Consider in the future you decided to kill someone. You made that choice right now from God's perspective.

Everyone who rejects him or obeys. They are doing so right now from God's point of view.

Right now God sees begining and the end. There is no past or future with God, only 'now.'

Only a God could have such a perception.

Agree or disagree?

I've recently contacted my local lodge and spoken with a Master Mason concerning my becoming a member. I was instructed to contact my local "Ambassador" and set an appointment with him, then when we meet he will instruct me further...

I find the masonry quite intriguing and have read good things and bad things about them during my decision making process - I was simply curious as to what the commitment's are, the steps in becoming a member, and what happens when you become one...?

I've also read that during the first three degrees of masonry that you are intentionally mislead by your lodge and with each degree earned you are rewarded with a "secret" is there truth to any of this or is it all nonsense? Thanks!

When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace. - Jimi Hendrix
This is my all time favorite quote.

it made me realize that we could change the world. If everyone just stopped thinking of themselves and looked at everyone else and tryed helping one another then little by little we would learn to love and we would find peace.

Why is it so hard for people to be good to eatchother? okay no one is saying to be saints but common look at the world, there is terror all over and we cant stop it? its us that are doing the terror. We add to all the bad in this world. If anyone is so naive to think that they are just one person and they cant help anything they are completely wrong. Its fulish to think that we cant help eatchother. Just by smileing at someone you could be brightening their whole day. i really believe that just one person can make a hell of a difference.

I am not trying to cause problems by asking this and I am not rascist in anyway. How many people out there think of the Confederate flag as a racial symbol? The reason I ask is because I am from the south and I have the Confederate flag up. I don't have it up as a racial symbol but as a symbol showing that I am proud to be from the south because I know a lot of people make fun of southerns. I know there are a lot of twisted people out there who fly it for the wrong reasons. Just curious to see how many.
