A lot of speculation is speading around the world, especially because of that"fictional" account from the book "the Da Vinci Code. I want to know how it would affect your faith. Would you continue to believe? Would it shake your faith. What would it lead you to feel or believe differently?

Hypothetically, it would not just affect "my" faith, it would affect "the" faith.

Christianity is about the Church (comprised of all genuine believers in Jesus) being the bride of Christ. If Jesus had another bride, or mistress, then He is an adulterer, a sinner, and therefore not divine as He claims.

That is why it is absolutely impossible for Jesus to have had a wife or lover.

Anyone can make up a story or write a book, but such things do not alter the Truth.

Jesus being married or having children would not change the fact of who He is. However, it does present some major philosophical and theological problems when it comes to the child. Would the child have divinity in her make up? Would she be considered one-fourth God? What were her children be considered?

To me the issue is a moot point because there is nothing in history to establish the claim that Jesus was married or that He had children. It is only mentioned in Gnostic writings centuries after the time of Christ. It is legend.

everyone in the whole planet knows that jesus is perfect. thats a given. a thought provoking question : Jesus was perfect and having a child with mary which she was a sinner, would not have worked out, and jesus doing so would have made him imperfect, which he couldnt have done because he was perfect, his perfection did not allow him to do so.Being a virgin in the bible is considered valuable and precious.and being valuable and precious was jesus, he was therefore undefialed by having relations with humans. and why would he there was no point to.

It would not effect my faith at all, because it didnt happen....the whole mess about the Davinci Code is a tool of the devil to get peoples minds off of the real reason for Jesus....He came and died for our sins....Its not about Evolution, or stupid stumbling blocks like the Davinci Code..Its all about Jesus!

The New testament indicates Jesus has Brothers and Sisters why not children. In my mind it makes him that much greater. Having a family and still being able to sacrifice yourself for others is far more harder then being God living on earth and doing the same.

Being that He was an Orthodox Rabbi ,I don't think Jesus would have married an ex prostitute if that's what she was.I can't see any reason why He should not have married otherwise.I just think He was on a single minded mission and didn't want too.

The Word of God is true...you've been reading too many DaVinci Delusion books...
Ha, ha , Ha; ...I always have to laugh at those who are so clueless as to the truth of the Bible. I laugh as I watch them try to debate its contents and 'prove' it can't be true....It is hilarious to watch them destroy themselves in the process.

"...if they speak not according to this Word it is because there is no light in them".(Isa.8:19)"
"... They that are unlearned and unstable do wrestle, as they do other Scriptures, to their own destruction". (II Peter 3:16)

There are many "ifs" being floated around and none of them true. A lot of pointless, useless, vain speculation.
