Psalm 86:5

Isn't that amazing! Hello, everyone. I am so happy tonight. I have been reminded, yet again, how gracious the Lord is. I really like this verse. I like that it says the Lord is plenteous in mercy to ALL that call on Him. Not just some, but ALL. It says the Lord is ready to forgive. How much the Lord loves us!! Praise Him!

I need a big ol' list of charitable organizations and the causes they support. I am going to give to at least one charity every month. Also, tell me your favorite charity and why.

Is it "Due to his limited mind, man is unable to fathom God in any meaningful way except to know that he is the creator and worthy of our unconditional respect and love". Or is it "Don't think for yourself. The thinking has already been done". Or is it something else? Thanks for your thoughts.

Some people say terrorist come out of ignorance or poverty. I dont agree. Osama is very well educated. He is also very wealthy. Some might say he is insane. I don't agree with this either. To me his action come from him being a deeply devoted Muslim. By this i mean he takes the meaning of the Koran and Hadith very literal. Which in a way would make him a good Muslim. Agree??

Wayne Friar, Ph.D., AIIA's Resource Associate for Science and Origins, says this:

Polls have shown that about 40% of scientists acknowledge a supernatural power. But the majority of the scientific community, especially evolutionary leaders today, hold an atheistic worldview. As support for their anti-supernatural worldviews, these scientists need mechanisms for the origin of life, especially humans.

Atheism needs evolution to escape from any implications regarding a creator. If one starts with Darwinism, certainly it is easy to escape from any obligation to God. Those opposed to their reasoning are branded as obscurantists who are trying to intrude religion into science.

I have to compare the US constitution to Nebraska's constitution as a state. I was told that same sex marriages are allowed there, but then I read that it is-but it may be been banned again. If it is legal, what could I say in comparison to the US constitution?

Everyone has different beliefs and views on who God is. Muslims, Christians, Jews, Wiccans, Pagans, Hindu, Buddist... the list goes on and they all believe they have the truth. So who is right? Does anyone think there is a slight possibility there is no wrong way to worship the higher power that created us? Some people are able to seek god easier through different religions. Shouldnt that be the main goal? If we all believed that there would be no wars, fighting, persecution or intolerence between anyone (as far as god is concerned). Doesn't this sound like what god would want for us? My goal is not to get you to turn from your religious beliefs (whatever they may be) but to help you to become a little more tolerent and respectful to others. Do any of you believe this is a possibility?

Then spake King Arthur to Sir Bedivere
'The sequel of to-day unsolders all
The goodliest fellowship of famous knights
Whereof this world holds record.
Such a sleep
They sleep-the men I loved. I think that we
Shall never more, at any future time,
Delight our souls with talk of knightly deeds,
Walking about the gardens and the halls
Of Camelot, as in the days that were.'

Dan Brown logic goes like this:

If a triangle represents the triune God, then after you have a triangle, you have a square, after a square, you have a pentagon, so obviously the US Govt' has to do with Jesus. you can make a 5 pointed star instide the pentagon, once you turn that over, you have a pentagram, and that is why Satan lives in thsi country.

But anyway, I am see much more of this in Christian apologetics, which is turning me off to them all together. If people use this pseudo logic to prove something, how do they think they will prove their case rationally?
