Dan Brown logic goes like this:

If a triangle represents the triune God, then after you have a triangle, you have a square, after a square, you have a pentagon, so obviously the US Govt' has to do with Jesus. you can make a 5 pointed star instide the pentagon, once you turn that over, you have a pentagram, and that is why Satan lives in thsi country.

But anyway, I am see much more of this in Christian apologetics, which is turning me off to them all together. If people use this pseudo logic to prove something, how do they think they will prove their case rationally?

What I meant was that Christian apologetics use similar logic to prove their point. Dan Brown, as it has been said, is that he is an idiot savant. He doesn't really know what he is talking about, but finds a way to connect things loosly, it is a good thing he is a fiction writer. But I haven't seen a good, Christian apologetic that does not go around in circles.

Dan Brown writes fiction.

And he compares it to another fictional book, the bible.

You need help in symbology. You're completely off the beam with Brown, and likely with Christianity as well.

Just because a triangle represents the triune God, which wasn't Brown's point by the way, doesn't mean that there is a necessary progression to square and then pentagon. That's not how symbolism works.

Brown's suggestion was that the triangle (equilateral) with the point up was the representation of the male. With it pointed down, it represents the female. (This is standard Pagan logic as well) Positioning one over the other, overlaping to create an even figure produces the Star of David. Brown's assertion was that the Star of David was created with this in mind. This is far from what your musings lead to.
