Since most people on here seem to have pretty powerful opinions. For those non-believers out there, since you reject everything else. What would be your ideal religion? I have an outline for this question, so answer all the criteria so we have a clear view of your perfect religion.

1.)Who is your god and what are they like?
2.)What's the worst sin you could commit in your gods eyes?
3.)Is there a heaven and hell?
4.)What are the laws and rules of your religion?
5.)Is there any hope for salvation in your religion?
6.)What do you have to do to please your god?

I surely have to be among the world's worst.

On a typical day I will whinge, moan and grunt, but in the past I have been known to literally THUMP my alarm clock and shout 'FOR ****S SAKE!' into my bedcovers.

I know a lot of religious people, Muslims, Jews, Christians, Hindu's, etc. They all believe in "different" God's. However, I'd like to pose a question to those religious enthusiasts. If you really believe in God, then why do you see your brothers as false believers. If I believe avidly in Krsna and you believe avidly in Allah then what, we both wait til we die and see who goes where? That's ridiculous!! There's only one God, and no matter the name, he's the same. My dad may call me son, my wife: husband, my teacher: student, my friends: friend, my children: father. Are they talking about a different person? No! Please give your opinions and answers without any "flaming" as I just honestly am looking for peoples reasoning behind their supposedly "different" beliefs.

I currently do not a religion or belief about how the world was made, what happens after death, etc. But I have been researching religion vs. evolution for a few months now, since a colleague of mine has been talking to me about her religion as a Jehovah Witness.

I have a few questions about both theories (evolution and religion)

RELIGION
Is there only one Bible?
Who wrote the Bible?
Who were the first humans?
Were they born?
What happens when we die?
When was the bible written?
Is there proof that God exists?
Why are there so many different religions?
Will human life exist forever?
Why did God make so many different human races?
If God exists, why are there so many bad things in the world? ie, Cancer.

EVOLUTION
What proof is there that evolution exists?
Where did it all begin?
What happens when we die?
Will life exist forever?
What is the oldest fossil found?
How do you know it is that old?

Any answers would be great!

American society... one of the worst things to ever happen. We have so many rules about the way people need to act and look like that it's just stupid now. People aren't allowed to act and look like they want to anymore b/c they're afraid of the way American society will judge them. When you think about it, according to society's rules, the way people can live their lives is extremely limited compared to the way they could be living it. The sad part is that most people do go through their lives "living the American dream" - finishing high school, going to college, getting a high-paying job, having a nice house, raising a family, retiring, and dying. This is the way I've seen most Americans live, and it's disgusting. Our creativity has been completely shot by the way society wants everyone to live.

What I'm looking for here is your opinion on the situation. Do you think American society has killed peoples' creativity? Please back up your answer with good reasoning. Any opinion is liked

It has been about 13 weeks since they have passed and when I go to bed a night, I keep thinking about how much I miss them. It makes it hard to sleep at night. Last night I felt like they were near me and I smelled the scent of roses. Has anyone elsed ever had that happen to them. It smelled so real.

It has recently been discovered that the gospel according to Judas casts doubts on critical issues about events before Jesus' betrayal. Now how would you react if it could soon be found (let's say) according to the gospel of "Thomas" that when he tested the hands and side of Jesus, he couldn't find holes (wounds) therefore the person who came to them as Jesus was an imposter?
