I'm trying to get some ideas I can work off of for a paper for my Creative Writing class that advocates God, but I need the opinions of non-believers.

Because of the inconsistencies in the bible - since the whole work can't stand up, its central premise must also be at fault.
The nature of God as sated in the Bible is also inconsistent - at first walking around the garden of Eden, having to ask Adam and Eve to come out of hiding; then later being everywhere and all knowing (hey, God evolved!).
History showed me that Christianity was spread by war and deceit, which led me to feel that a loving God would not have allowed his followers to act like that - but they did. where was God when hois people bloodied his name?
So I decided against the Christian concept of God and answered my spiritual questions elsewhere.

Because the Bible doesn't make sense. It's full of contradictions, fallacies and pure silly and incredible stories. It speaks of "facts" that have been disproven. It has been changed so often in history to suit the agenda of men in power each time that it's probably nowhere near how it was originally. It has been translated so often (and translated from translations that were translated from translations) that it probably contains quite a few mistranslations as well. On top of that, there is not really much non-biblical evidence that supports the Christian god.
In addition to not believing in the Christian god, I don't believe in any god at all. The reason is pretty simple. I have never experienced anything that convinced me there is a god. Quite the opposite the more I see, the more convinced I am that nobody is watching over us.

christian gods.. well first thing is.. logically and scientifically already tells u that god/s dun exist.. maybe in different form.. but do they create the earth and the galaxy we live in or make humans suffer.. or make some people's mind dirty and bad? ok.. if u r a god.. then u would definitely create everyone with good intentions and definitely wants them to be in ur religion.. why is there so many religions now?? and if god made miracle.. so let us see to the past.. when humans are not civilised.. and they doesnt know what is a fever or flu or sickness.. when one of them is sick with the cough or flu or fever then they will say that this is caused by god.. but now as science is more and more discovered then we realise.. ohh, why did i think it was miracle? do anyone seen god/s or angels came down to earth... that's silly.. its jus some sort of imaginary being when someone desperately needs help.. or in an insane condition..

Because Christians are saying that 1 + 1 + 1 = 1
That itself is illogical.
I do however believe in the ONE and only ONE True Eternal Abrahamic God The Creator.

I don't believe in the Christian God because there is too much contradiction in the Bible:
You should live your life without sin so you can get into Heaven. But if you sin, and if you repent those sins you get into Heaven. Why bother leading a sinless life if you can get into Heaven anyway?

There's no evidence for any god or gods. Lacking that, all the details are pointless. No different from astrology or a belief in leprechauns.

Why don't you believe in Zeus?
There was not enough written about your god at the time he supposedly existed to validate the existence. (nothing is the answer by the way)

Reading a lot of books (including the Bible), experience, and being around a LOT of Christians in my lifetime.
The absolute worst advertisement for Christianity is Christians themselves.

the bible for one. and i believe i would be dead already if there wansnt a god who cared about me. ive been through to much and seen to much not to believe.
