Some of my many questions: How badly did Hurricane Katrina affect New Orleans Mardi Gras? Did St. Louis take over the #1 spot in 2006? How did each city rank in popularity and size in 2006? Are there projections for 2007?

We have some questions related to the launching of OSS in Banda Aceh. What is the exact number of the OSS currently being helped or has been helped through the PROMIS Project? *With respect to the chronological order, what is the position of OSS Banda Aceh as OSS being helped by the PROMIS programme?*
---------------------------
(I meant: of all the places being helped by OSS, how many are ahead of Banda Aceh? How many are behind Banda Aceh?) Can you please put it in simpler way? Or my sentence above is good enough?

The Greek philosophers had a tremendous impact upon early Christian thought. Luther did away with that in his attempt at "dehellenizing" Christianity by reducing the value of reason in Christian theology. Is Greek thought a moral wasteland for Protestants? Is there wisdom to be had there? Is it compatible with Christian thought?

Listen, I just had an eye exam this year and I have 20/20 vision. Look up in a clear blue sky and see them for yourself. What the hell is that? I am not the only person who sees it either, many people I know and random strangers have mentioned it...people without eye problems. Is it electronic phenomena? Or something "else"? They look like tiny little dots of "energy" ranging from a bright yellow to an electric white color, zipping around in different directions in the sky.

Let's just say religion wasn't even a "real" word. That we never had heard of such a thing. How do you think we would all do if religion didn't exist? Or for that matter, never existed.

I was sleeping on a bunk bed (with 3 beds apparently). I was on the top putting posters up on along the wall, and my two ex-girlfriends were on the other bottom 2 beds (one I still like alot, the other I care alot about but don't want a relationship with). (It starts to get fuzzy here) Eventually we all got up and started moving about the house (or wherever we were) and I talked with one of them but not so much the other because I couldn't find her really.

Note: both relationships were good and ended well. Im friends with both of them still.

How come everybody veiws the veil worn by muslim women as opressive? Don't you people know that the Jewish and Christian faiths also require women's hair to be covered. Jewish women in Israel always cover their hair, and only wear skirts. And if you read the bible closley, there is a passage ( I forgot where exactly) where it says that only a "shameful" or "damned" woman would show her hair. So why all the disrespect toward muslim women in general?

If you think it was then someone should have informed Thomas Jefferson for his words were:

Because religious belief, or non-belief, is such an important part of every person's life, freedom of religion affects every individual. Religious institutions that use government power in support of themselves and force their views on persons of other faiths, or of no faith, undermine all our civil rights. Moreover, state support of an established religion tends to make the clergy unresponsive to their own people, and leads to corruption within religion itself. Erecting the "wall of separation between church and state," therefore, is absolutely essential in a free society.

Harold Urey and Stanley Miller passed mixtures of boiling water, ammonia, methane and hydrogen through elaborate "electric spark systems" of beakers and test tubes. In those experiments, they were able to produce traces of one or two amino acids -- the "building blocks of life" -- and therefore, the media hailed these as proof for the possibility of spontaneous generation (evolution) on a prebiotic Earth.

There were many unreported problems with these "designed" experiments. Dramatically, the greatest byproducts of these soups were tar (85%) and carboxylic acids (13%), both of which are toxic to living systems. Notwithstanding all the other issues, producing a trace amino acid in a laboratory experiment would be similar to producing a clay brick and declaring that we just figured out how to randomly design and build a New York skyscraper.

Take a frog and put him in a blender until frothy. Leave it in the sun for a million years. Do you have a frog? No, still frog soup.
