Then they try to use their psychologically anthropomorphised idea of what god should be, according to their preferences, in order to judge the true God as not with the times?
I prefer a just,stern, passionate, sort of real and normal God, to the fake in the sky, that the diversity perversity crowd puts out as a stamp of approval on all their deviancy and sin.

Do they not crossdress the truth just as they crossdress themsleves?
Does not their crossdressing ways, genderbending ways, affect their view of truth and also alter it? do not they bend truth.

You see what they do with concrete reality right in front of you, surgically altering it to fit their wants, what then will they not do in realm of ideas?
If they are promiscuous in bed and life, sleeping around, prostituting their bodies, degrading their bodies, is it not reasonable to assume that they will be promiscuous withthe truth, prostitue the truth, degrade the truth?

Original question: My 8 yr old wants to donate some of his toys "to someone who lost his home and toys in the hurricane" (his words). I think this is noble and would like to honor his request. Does anyone know an organization or someone personally that needs a few toys suitable for an 8 yr old boy? Feel free to e-mail too.

Updating question: We'd really like to donate the toys to hurricaine survivors, not other places and as we live in the boon-docks there aren't any shelters or salvation army stores, etc. He's been really touched by those stories and I want to feed this desire in him to help.

Periodically he will go to Kinkos and have them bind little books of the stuff, which he gives to everyone he knows. It is really, really awful stuff.

I will say something like, "Thanks for sharing that with me, it was nice to get such a personal gift, and it looked really professional the way you had it bound and everything!" But inevitably I'm directly asked, "How did you like my poetry?"

I'm a terrible liar, even the "little white lies." I try to spin something positive-sounding that isn't a total lie, but I wind up stumbling and stuttering and, well, it doesn't sound so good.

Even if I straight-up lie and say it was great (which I can't do well), I know there will be tricky follow up questions about what I liked about it and which one I liked (and they're too awful to read them all). Any suggestions? I need a positive-sounding but evasive answer! (This is an adult, BTW)

I asked a question earlier about God and books and so on, and a few people answered that books, movies, TV, etc. are distractions to studying the Bible and spending time with God. Which is an answer I can understand and respect.

However...if that's the case, why is there entertainment that caters specifically to Christians? Books, music, movies, and so on. I realize that some of it is for evangelical purposes, but not all of it is--much is there pretty much for Christians to enjoy. Wouldn't this be detrimental rather than helpful?

So if we are going to go off darwins theory..... with his natural selection find, obviously the moths changed colour because of a change in the environment. God, excersing his wisdom created things this way so that the animals could survive environmental changes and not die out.....
Why would we go from apes to humans? What kind of environmental change would cause this? Apes are not only stronger than humans, they are also more adapted to living outdoors... (humans have to wear clothes to keep warm)...
Why would we only get smarter, better looking and weaker?..... An environmental change could not have effected that? That goes against natural selection....
Please if anyone knows, or think that they can explain this please do..

we do not do santa at all. and we let our kids no there is no santa. we still give them gifts. we call it new years gifts. but a lot of people i know who go to church do the whole santa. that is not why we celebrate christmas. we have even had some get mad at us or go off on us for what we believe. we are not going to teach our kids to believe in something that is not real and then break there heart later when they find out it is not real. we still enjoy the holidays and do gifts just not any from santa. we let our kids know the truth about why we celebrate and say we are opening gifts to celebrate Jesus birthday and to start the new year.
this is for those who are christians. i understand there are those who dont believe in Jesus.
