I am so sorry you were attacked, but it is normal behavior here for many ignorant, hateful people who feel they have nothing better to do than bash a religion theyknow nothing about. Be patient and do not take those fools to heart.
I get attacked too, on a regular basis. Many people cannot accept that I am an American woman, happily married to a Muslim man and living in his country. Peace.

I have been reading about Islam lately, and as I read, I have many questions. I have asked many questions here about Islam, that were respectful, and I have been amazed at how many terrible answers I get from people who only want to attack Islam. I'm not a Muslim, but I find this very offensive.
I'm a religious studies student, and so I ask about many religions. So far, I think Islam receives the worst attacks. I think the reason is that people get their information about Islam from the news about terrorists. They don't realize that these terrorists are not following Islam at all.
I think what is needed to correct this situation, is for the people to see that real Muslims are good people. People on here who attack Muslims probably have not even met any real Muslims. So, please continue to ask respectful questions, and give respectful answers about your faith. Let the people see what a true Muslim really is. I hope you'll not get discouraged. You have my support.

Hey now Atheists have no beef with Muslims. If I were to actually convert to any religion it would have to be Muslim
The so called War zone should go down in history as Atheists V Christians and Christians V Muslims LOL
Make no mistake you are not welcome here by the Christians, However no real true Atheist would talk bad about Muslims
Maybe just my opinion & I might just be crazy. I would hope most Atheists are not educated by Fox news & GW Bush. No like in most of lifes situations we look at both sides before passing judgement and like most things that come out of the great christian right mouths complete BS Lies & Propaganda about Muslims. I have much much more reason to respect Muslim's than any christian I have ever met

Sorry Jasmine, but Islam along with Christianity, is the new fad religion to make fun of. there are some great Muslims on this site and it appears that some people (refering to your last question) don't know how to say anything nice.

Well, you've answered it for yourself. You're new here. This is not a place where people discuss religion and spirituality.. it's a war zone for christians, atheists and muslims, mostly.
I'm sorry you had that experience. There are some of us in the war zone who are nice and friendly and will happily answer your questions (when they pertain to something we can help with) in a respectful fashion.

I'm sorry that you felt attacked. You should be aware that there is bunch of immature people on this site. Sometimes they jump to conclusions without thinking about what the asker is really asking. I am not Muslim but there are many of them here.

Get used to it dear, your religion is not very popular, in fact for a Q&A topic called Religion and Spirituality, niether one are very popular, Try saying "peace", "God, "Jesus" watch the fangs come out. Count how many thumbs down are on this anwswer just for using those words. Get a think skin, or don't bother with this site.

Secondly i think as you have asked why are you peoples so mean so responce is obvious !!!! as this mean nature is not specific for muslims only, its HUMAN nature and you can find mean peoples in every religion..

sadly most people here say inappropriate stuff about Islam..and that hurts me and many other peaceful muslims....i don't say bad stuff about Jesus or Moses (I believe in these great prophets and if i don't i m not a muslim)...but this world is full of hateful morons and u found a few of 'em here !
