Is it true that Catholics don't believe in birth control of any kind? If so, do you view this as a sin and why?

you know the story of David and Goliath, right? it states that Goliath was a extremely tall man. how did he get so tall (other than that's how God made him)? cuz if you think about it, it doesn't say that Goliath's mother was extrememly tall. so he must have been born the same size as us.

This is one of the most interesting and honest Christian testimonies I have ever read. I'd love to know both Christian and non-Christian reactions to this. Take a few minutes and read it, please, and then give your honest opinion.

I believe in god and do not doubt what i believe in. I did not down the athiest for what they believe in but simply wanted to ask their opinion on how they believe things are created. I have researched it and I have learned it in school but I just wanted to get the perspective of a real athiest not just a book. why is it that almost everyone who answered my question were rude when i never downed what they believe in or said that it was wrong to believe in it

Okay, so you think that Esperanto has no culture. You think that Esperanto is a dead language or a failed experiment. You think it doesn't have enough speakers to make it worthwhile.
These are the bulk of the reasons given for not wanting to learn the language, and that's fine. It means you haven't done your homework on the subject, but fine none-the-less.
Having said this, what other reasons can you think of to not want to learn Esperanto. I honestly want to see if there are any reasonable reasons out there.

If you need to find out more about Esperanto before you answer, try these sites.

Others can be found by plugging it into your search engine.

The Irish site has an excellent expose here.

Now tell me what you think.

LOL! I was wondering if I was the only one who was interested in this topic because when I was young I was obsessed transformation. To be more specific, I was obsessed with the fictitious idea where someone can turn into someone or something else and turn back.

Seriously. It has it's temples and it's doctrine. It has it's saints: Newton, Boyle, Darwin, Einstein. It has it's commandments: Thou shalt not assume without evidence, Thou shalt make no untestable prediction. It has it's devotees and it's zealots - over 6 billion followers worldwide, of varying degrees of faithfulness. And it provides answers, if you seek them.

Would you agree that every individual is responsible for every bad things that are taking place in the world at the moment?

Here is an example from a book that would help you to understand better (If your a believer of hindu religion then you should be able to understand):

"In the modern setup of democratic states the citizens can have no cause for grievances, because the whole administration is conducted by people themselves.

If the people themselves are dishonest, the administrative machinery must be corrupt.

Although a damned government of the people may be given a good or fancy name, if the people are not good they cannot have good government, regardless of which party governs the administration. There good character in the consciousness of the mass of people is the first principle necessary for a good government" (Light of the Bhagavata).
