ABORTION a DUI is an honest mistake, it wouldnt be a DUI if you didnt get caught, but an abortion requires thought and thought, and signing and more thought and showing up for the appointment and then knowing in full what you are doing to YOUR child or your gf's child, or any child at that matter

All sins are equal in the eyes of the Lord. One sin is not worse than another. They are all sins. That said, a DUI is not necessarily a sin. It is a violation of a man made, man enforced law. If you were to harm another person because of your DUI, such as murder, then I suppose it could be considered a sin.

Well I have gotten 2 DUIs and never killed anyone, I have also paid for several abortions and not killed anyone. A ball of cells doesn't count as a life as it can't deal a hand of blackjack. Neither are sins.

Speaking from a Christian perspective: The Bible doesn't rank sin... sin is sin. Yes, you read about the seven deadly sins but all sin is painful to God. God is pure and holy and anything that doesn't measure up to that standard - i.e. perfect - causes Him pain. Why? Because it was due to sin that His Son Jesus had to die on the cross - in order to make a way to restore the broken relationship. Jesus - being God - was also perfect, pure, holy... and therefore the only one who could stand in our place and take the punishment. Every sin, regardless of its magnitude, hurts God. It means someone is choosing to follow their own choices, exclude Him, and sometimes (in the case of abortion or DUI), kill or harm others.

THey are both equal in the eyes of the Lord sin is sin- no ifs, ands,or buts. The best thing you can do is ask forgiveness and guess what -God WILL forgive you because he loves you. Nobody deserves forgivness but God loves us so much that he gives it to us anyways. God Bless You -I hope I helped.
