I saw a big light on 9/11 in New York also, but I don't think it was a picture of the prophet mohammed.

It is indeed a nice picture, but in Islam images of the Prophet are indeed forbidden- Why? Because it is a form of idolism, and we do not worship Mohammed -pbuh- we worship God alone, and to worship God we need no caricature, photo, or statue whatso ever.
But it is a beautiful painting none the less.
