I'm just wondering because my Chinese neighbor is piss-yellow, and I wondered, "Does the skin of all Chinese look like that?"

Exactly what I said, vickywwang. He looks like his whole body is covered in yellow paint, but it's his natural skin tone.

The term is buff or honey for a lighter skin tone with yellow undertones. There are deeper shades as well, and with some sun I've seen a caramel complexion or two. It really depends on the amount of sun exposure and what region of such a large nation someone hails from.

Depending on what region of China one is from, ethnic Chinese range from very pale white, to white with a yellowish tint, to very dark tan.

that is like asking whether all european skin looks the same, of course its not all the same. duh. it can be really pale skin from the people up north or in the himilayas. it can be tan skin from the fields. it can have a yellow tint. there is no common skin tone, eveyone's is different. "piss yellow" what are you talking about??
