They came from God. It is another mystery, that only God has the key to knowledge about the dinosaurs. A mystery indeed. You will never know and you can not solve the mystery, the way you are doing it. Christians don't hold the key to that mystery. You are too critical. Stop laying the heavy trip on the Christians. Even Christians don't know some of the things you ask. Only God holds the key to that info.

As Christians, we don't need to fear any questions like this. There's never any call for us to disclaim what science clearly proves - that dinosaurs certainly did roam the earth.
Here are some excerpts from a great article you should really read by Ken Ham (Answers in Genesis). I've seen some of his videos about dinosaurs and they are fantastic - they really synch up the Bible and science on this issue.
http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/2.asp
"Did Dinosaurs Really Exist?
"Dinosaurs certainly did roam the Earth in the ancient past! Fossils of dinosaurs have been found all over the world, and their bones are displayed in museums for all to see. Scientists have been able to reconstruct many of their skeletons, so we know much about how they may have looked."
[...]
"Other scientists, called creation scientists, have a different idea about when dinosaurs lived. They believe they can solve any of the supposed dinosaur mysteries and show how the evidence fits wonderfully with their ideas about the past, beliefs that come from the Bible.
"The Bible, God’s very special book (or collection of books, really), claims that each writer was supernaturally inspired to write exactly what the Creator of all things wanted him to write down for us so that we can know where we (and dinosaurs) came from, why we are here, and what our future will be. The first book in the Bible—Genesis—teaches us many things about how the universe and life came into existence. Genesis tells us that God created everything—the Earth, stars, sun, moon, plants, animals, and the first two people."
There's a lot more to the article, and there are many other great articles on this site. Happy researching and God bless.

The bible is a spiritual book. Personally, i think there might be a recreation that was not mention. There was nothing spiritual about before the time of Adam and Eve, so nothing important to talk about. All giant animal was probably wipe out and recreated in a even more beautiful way. Who knows maybe soon God will also wipe out this one too. Do you think the next new bible will talk about us...mmmh.

i'm a Christian and that i'm uninterested in being represented via righteous Christians who shove their faith down people's throats. those form of folk might steer away from the question and then circulate on a rant touching directly to the form you are going to hell. I see it in a diverse way, even though if, like many others. you might have faith in Christianity and technological expertise on an identical time. i've got faith that the bible is summed as much as be a instruction manual on the thank you to stay. Jesus is an occasion of perfection and obedience. in comparison to many Christians, who punish any of those to even say the call Darwin, i've got faith that maximum events interior the Bible may well be defined via technological expertise. as an occasion, while Moses supposedly split the waters of the purple Sea, it fairly is available that a volcanic eruption on the Island of Thera brought about a tsunami. this suggests that Moses and the slaves might have escaped whilst the water had retreated and as quickly because of the fact the Pharaoh and the Egyptians tried to circulate, they could have been drowned via the tsunami. that's the place ideals are available in. you could think of that it replaced into God who brought about the tsunami for Moses, or you could think of that it replaced into in undemanding terms a accident. i'm not telling you to have faith in God and Jesus Christ, yet i don't choose you to decrease than think of the memories of the Bible. If something, it fairly is a stable e book to determine because of the fact it incorporates maximum each available challenge in existence, and this is totally inspiring. basically remember that people (stimulated via God) wrote the Bible. When God created the world, dinosaurs were one of His creations. God created all the animals (Genesis 1:20-25).God made everything in the entire universe--people, stars, planets andall that there is (Exodus 20:11a, Genesis 1, John 1:3). Like Adam, the bodies of the first dinosaurs were formed from the dust of the earth. Man and dinosaurs lived at the same time."For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day."
-Exodus 20:11
"All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."
-John 1:3
But, are they in the Bible? Why did God create dinosaurs? Why did they become extinct? What was life like living with dinosaurs, at first?...
Dinosaur-like creatures are mentioned in the Bible. The Bible uses ancient names like "behemoth" (beh-HEE-moth) and "tannin." Behemoth means kingly, gigantic beasts. Tannin is a term which includes dragon-like animals and the great sea creatures such as whales, giant squids, and marine reptiles like the plesiosaurs (PLEE-see-oh-sors) that may have become extinct (died out).
The Bible's best description of a dinosaur-like animal is in Job chapter 40...
"Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feed on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God..."
-Job 40:15-19 (NIV)
The book of Job is very old, written after the worldwide flood of Noah's time and probably about 2,000 years before Jesus was born. Here God describes a great king of the land animals like some of the biggest dinosaurs, the Diplodocus and Apatosaurus. It was a gigantic plant-eater with great muscles and very strong bones. The long Diplodocus had leg bones so strong that he could have held three others on his back.

God created ALL of the animals before he created man. The Dinosaurs were among the first animals. They died out because they were to big to fit on Noah's ark.

I agree with the answer given by abstract.
I would also like to add the the Bible also used words such as 'dragon' and 'unicorn' to describe extinct animals.

dinosaur bones usually come from dinosaurs. they use the bones for a while and then they kinda discard them after they die. that's usually the scenario - except for those dinosaurs that got stuck in those big tar pits someplace. those dinosaurs turned into oil, i think, and so every time you ride in a car you are really travelling with dino-bone energy.
god bless
