I am only 17 and go to school full time, yet some how I manage to come to work on time. I mean, it isn't just like a few times he has done this....it has been more times than I count. He's in his twenties and old enough to know better and to be responsible.

Because I go to school I'm only suppose to work until 10:00 at night on week nights...well, last night I didn't get home until 11:30 (and my work is only about 10 minutes from my house) because I was waiting for him. What is the proper way to handle this considering he is the boss's son?

i think so. i have heard "non-blacks" use the word(in an endearing way of course!) and it really does not bother me. i am not oblivious to the history of the word(who isn't?) but I don't really care. i think that using it in the way that it is being used can weaken it. I hate when people say abolish the word. that won't help!?! It's not like the word will never exist anymore!

Also. whoever is using the word to defend Micheal Richards on the basis of the casual way that n*gga is used is stupid. He clearly said n*gger not n*gga. Run, Fun, Bun, and Sun all have one letter differences and nobody debates trying to say that they are the same. Why n*gga and n*gger. And plus obviously the "hanging from the tree part" obviously flew over their heads cause that was the part that got me angry. Sheesh. By the way he siad n*gger he definatly didn't mean buddy.

Why do I take his porn-viewing habits personally? What can I do to stop being angry/sad/frustrated about him looking at porn? How can I be supportive? How can I stop taking it so personally?
We've fought over and over about porn. I don't like it. It hurts me so much. I've come to the point where I've pretty much accepted the fact that he's going to look at it. I've convinced him to stop hiding it. Now how do I get over it?

I heard a debate about whether there's such thing as "christian rock." Some one got up and quoted a verse saying something like "bang the drums, blow the trumpets," or what ever.
Then, the other side of the argument was a bunch of people saying "oh I hate rock music, the hyms are sooooo much more pleasant."
So, to the christian rock haters, is your opinion basically "I don't like it so I know GOD wouldn't like it?"
Isn't that like telling God what's okay to reach people with?

Alot of churches today have the idea that "Everybody's welcome", but they really dont practice that. Alot of churches focus inward on their own views, ideas, and people, instead of doing what the Bible says about reaching the outward to the lost and dying world and getting them to know Jesus Christ as their own Lord and Savior.

There are alot of churches making church seem like its just for church people instead of all people. Jesus said in Luke 5:31-32 "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance." When alot of churches don't go out into the community and spread the gospel but focus only on themselves they destroy themselves from the inside out, then they wonder why their church isn't growing.

Alot of churches make it difficult for non-believers to have a relationship with Christ. They set standards and rituals you have to go through just to be accepted. I just want to her others views on this.

I am 36 years old live at home with my mom. She has bad back problems and cant really live by herself. she and i have become real close friends and i would not change any choices that i have made to be in the position that i am in. The problem is she dont go out that often becuase she is on oxygen and cant walk for long periods of time. she has a scooter but i think she believes it to be more of a hassle than anything else. she loves her grandchildren. she pretty much lives in her bedroom but has a computer that she is loves playing bingo and other games on. she has a tv and radio. she asked me to get her a dvd player. but i dont want to give her something that she asks for.. ( i will give her mine i use my puter anyways). so what do you think.. oh yeah she already has one of those beds that lefts the feet and head. i really want to get her something that she will love and use all the time. what do you think. thanks for any answers that can be provided.

why is it that people are so friggin narrow minded I am cross dresser when i go ut as Michaela i generally have no problem whatsoever i am very passable to the point where i am constantly getting hit on by men. the other night my gf and i went to the movies there were these two guys ( acted like they were drunk) they kept coming on to us we ignored them until one reached over and grabbed me i stood up and turned to him and told him if he touched me again id get him arrested. well that did it now i was out my voice is the only thing that is not passable ( i am working on it ) well he made a scene started calling me all kinds of names until they had to ask us all t o leave. we ended up waiting in the lobby of the theatre until we were sure they had left. why are people so rude! i wasn't dressed slutty. i dont dress that way. this is the second incident in less than a month involving bad behavior on the part of others directed at me for just being me. i am not going to hide

We are in need of christmas help and I was told to check with area churches. I have contacted Chimes for Charity and they told me they were unable to help because, the last day of applications was 11/22. I contacted toys for tots and they told me they were unable to find an organization in my area in tennessee. My husband does work but, but works for us to have a roof over our heads. Anyone can contact me by email at caspck2@aol.com and the only reason that i have internet is because i am trying to get a college degree online. My internet is paid for by school. I have contacted churches and so far everyone has turned me away. My children are boys one is 2 and the other is 1 soon to be 2 in february? Any help would be greatly appreciated and any suggestions also. Thanks for taking the time to look at my question!!!!
