I was curious, have y'all forgotten us catholics, sure enough back in the old days you wanted us dead as a doornail, or has your brain continued to decay over time?

I think unfortunately that the modern Catholic stereotype is one of a person that is unwilling to stand up for and defend his or her faith, but instead just nod their head in appeasement or apologize for stating their professed truths directly (like the Pope).
I hate to say it as a Catholic at heart, but the Catholic Church isn't even worth the time to be philosophically or politically attacked in modern times (notwithstanding Phil Donahue, Catholic Congressmen like Jeb Bush and Rick Santorum, and of course the Pope).
The average lay Catholic just isn't around the religion apologetics scene anymore (minus a few like yourself), for several reasons.

I think that it is best to just ignore them. I sometimes will get a free 2 points from replying before I report their question.
I don't think that they have forgotten anyone, they just pick and choose which targets they think they can slam without the most resistance.

I know! Especially this person called SicillianChick. I wish Yahoo! would do something about this apart from removing the comment (they don't ask questions).
I suggest their IP address be blocked, especially when they repeat and continue to do these things.

Why attract them over to continue to harrass? LOL.
I've found it's best to ignore them. Report them but don't respond. It's just not worth getting upset over their immature antics.
