ok i have a serious problem with being a control freak. not like i want to control other people, but i go insane when i can't control my own life. i get very insecure and i really don't like it. i'm going through a lot of emotional drama per say right now and i can't control anything going on. what do i do?

Im irish, well parents are but i was born and raised in london and i must say i love this country, it is home, english have the most to be proud of, the world changing bands, the empire, the english language and the humor, well, where i live in london there aren't only a small handfull of english people, london is the most multicultural city in the world, i can say im proud of my home, but also Ireland, all you english should be very proud, this is one amazing country and probably the best in the world, apart from Ireland ;)

I get annoyed that everyone thinks we're supposed to be doing loads for the environment. I try hard but sometimes i know i'm doing wrong. Maybe confessing will make it better. I always do the washing up under running water because it's cleaner than a grubby bowl. What do you do?

Surely, if you could, you would tell all your children how to avoid hell? You would love them and not want them to burn forever?

If G-d is all-powerful and all-loving, then why does he not tell each person, in a way they understand, PERSONALLY (not through a religious text) how they must behave to get into heaven?

Leaving a book around and expecting the child to believe it, when they have seen none of the actual events and have not been told personally by their parent that this is the book to believe... how is that fair?

I know I would make it CLEAR to my kids, because of my love for them, how they can keep from everlasting pain. If they didn't listen, I would keep trying in any way I could. G-d could use any means he has - he could allow angels to appear to everyone...

How is G-d all-loving if he does not even love as a parent would? How is he all-powerful if he cannot actively portray his message to everyone?

You hear black or brown pride, you aplaud them. You hear white pride, and you frown upon them for being racist. On what grounds is it acceptable for a person to have pride in themselves? Is it color or race? I personally disapprove of boasting about your race or ethnicity. To be proud of something, you first must earn it. Even if you have something to boast about, what did race ever have to do with it?

As you may see, I am myself a minority.

My mother recently asked me this question: Why are homosexuals said to be one of the #1 transmitters of AIDS? It sounded like a good question to me. We discussed it a little but didn't seem to come up with a satisfying answer. I told her about a documentary I watched that speculates AIDS was derived from creating the polio vaccine from monkeys(I can't remember what exactly from the monkey they used) anyway, this caused the previously dormant virus to become active/destructive in humans. You mainly hear how AIDS is predominately transmitted by homosexuals and IV drug users. Please don't be too hard me but here goes....Is it so prevalent with homosexuals because they are more apt to be in the IV drug scene. This is a serious question and not intended to stereotype, sorry if it sounds that way.

well im a christian. In sciene we are learning about the first froms of life and how they were formed. Scientiffically god did not create us. we were evolved from apes who evolved form so on....so is god real or just a beief like santa clause?

Have you ever told a lie, stolen, used God's name in vain? When you die, you will stand before God to be judged by His Commandments. If you are found guilty on that day, you will be sent to Hell. God provided a way for you to be found innocent on judgment day. Jesus came to earth to die, in order to pay your debt. What you must do is Repent, which means to ask forgiveness for your sins, turn away from your sinning ways, and put your complete trust in Jesus Christ. If you do this, you will be accepted into Heaven, not because ypur a good person, but because your a bad person who's been forgiven. This is the only way.
