Sage and Onion Stuffing

Mine's not really a food, but a FEAST!! My family celebrates the Italian American tradition of Feast of the Seven Fishes, which is only done on Christmas Eve. It's a collection of 7 different seafood dishes in preparation of the birth of Jesus. Supposed to be a meatless meal as purification of the body. The 7 relates to the seven sacraments of the Catholic Church. Our traditional menu is as follows:
Stuffed Calimari in Tomato Sauce
Fried Smelt
Oyster Shooters
Deep Fried Breaded Oysters
Deep Fried Fish/Shrimp
Linquine with Clam Sauce
Marinated Eel
Baccala
Whiting
And to top it off we have tiramasu for dessert.

My parents do the same spread for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I can't say the meal itself. I would have to say the choice of chocolates you get when you go visiting and someone has chocolate out. The variety is HUGE.

Life is like a box of chocolates.....
