i believe in God but my faith is not as strong as i like it to be. but i also want to get saved and have a clean slate. i hate the way my life is now, i am miserable, i feel guitly, hopeless, and spiritually frustrated. i don't know what my purpose is, i don't know where i belong, but something keeps pulling me closer ot htis higher power. and soemthing is telling me its God. but i don't know how to accept him, though i have read through a few books of the bible. i feel like i am too far gone to turn back. can anybody that is born again tell me what led up to you giving your life to chirst? thank you.

I am trying very hard to make sure my calm tone is coming through in my question. I would really appreciate a response with the same courtesy. And the only reason I am putting this in here is because I see a lot of angry responses to many Christians angry questions. I'm not even sure how much of this is a question but rather a response to some...responses. I have heard it said many times that there is absolutely no evidence to believe in a God. But I in fact have seen many evidences to the contrary. So why all the debate and confusion? The responses to most evidences I read show a closed minded attitude. Let me explain. If someone claims to have encountered an evil spirit, what is the typical response? Probably to tell them to lay of the crack pipe, am I correct? Even if they may have been in the presence of more than one person and they all saw it. If they told you they had not been smoking anything, would you believe them then? You would probably consider them to be a liar. CONT....

As an avid hunter, I am astonished by the amount of people who think that I am a sick and twisted person because I like to kill "bambi." Many of these people think hunting is wrong due to flat out ignorance. They do not understand that hunters are in fact the most active conservationists in the world. In the early 1900's, the wild turkey was only found in 3 states. Now, due to hunters and hunter groups like the NWTF, they are now found in all 50 states. The Turkey population is millions greater than it was even before Columbus had even set sail. It aggravates me to be treated like an outcast because the mojority of society has abandoned there ways of the past and now leads a blind life thinking that the burger theyre eating was just grown out of the ground that way.

since 5 years a go every week i been donate my supreme

I have tried electroshock therapy, beating with phone books, threatening with guns, threatening family members. I've even tried dressing up like Jesus and say 'I WANT YOU' and pointing at them.

Nothing seems to work, please help i'm really stuck.

i already know beginner mexican spanish, but i have been told that south american spanish is way harder to learn and understand. is this true? will i have a hard time if i go to argentina? if i learn spanish in argentina, will it be a piece of cake for me to talk in mexico?

How come even the most zealous scientists call evolution a theory? How come they can't come up with hard evidence to call it a fact? How come they can't find any transitional animals from one species to another? The truth is that the Bible is correct. Each kind of animal reproduces it's own kind. Cats give birth to cats, dogs give birth to dogs, and termites give birth to termites. Evolution is a theory that Atheist are trying to promote so they won't have to accept the belief in God.

Evolution is a dead issue, it doesn't exist. Agree?

Why do so many people believe that intelligent human beings who believe in natural selection, abortion, the death penalty, and who don't believe in "god" are basically witches or idiots or that they're going straight to hell? Because I am proud to be an aethiest, proud to believe in pro-choice for women (and NO i do not believe a fetus is a tumor,parasite, whatever), and I believe in the death penalty as well as the fact that if you're a close-minded dumb*ss we should be able to throw you in the ocean and watch you drown.

I'm not religious and not trying to stop for any religious reason at all.
I do feel like it screws me up spiritually though.
ok well it's been a part of my life since I was very young. It's part of the reason my girlfriend left me a year ago.
I made a commitment to live a more meaningful life and stop looking at it, because I do feel a lot of the girls are being exploited and/or just have totally screwed up lives and I'm condoning the sad situation by induldging.
Here's the thing, I'm sometimes torn. Like right now... I was just about to indulge and I stop myself to write this.
At times like this I tell myself- well maybe it does have a place sometimes. I'm really lonely, my life is really tough, and it does give me a release and an escape. Any insight is appreciated!

Some might say that a platypus is the missing link between ducks and beavers. But, of course it's not. And don't even say WHY NOT. A platypus is it's own species. And even if it was a link between a duck and a beaver, where are the examples between the duck and the platypus, or the platypus and the beaver? Same goes for the archaeoptryx.

How do you feel about the parents, or whom ever putting pictures of thier kids on the internet, even if its just for the questions & answers? Not that im knocking any parent, i know we all think our kids a beautiful. I myself would never put a pic. of my son on the web. I would encourage all creationsists to view the information in this link. It shows you the truth about the scientists behind creationists and shows that less than ONE TENTH OF ONE PERCENT OF SCIENTISTS BELIEVE CREATIONISM IS IN FACT TRUE (or more valid that evolution)

Hypothetically of course ... so no need for anyone to get on their high horses! I've sort of come to the conclusion that he/she is one or the other. It's basically two ancient ways of communicating that have some sort of structure to it.
Or according to 5-element theory (Yin/Yang) it would be the two with a bith of both in each.
The spoken word can nowhere reach near the emotional experience that the musically accompanied spoken word reaches. (i know very little on harmonics, ancient chinese medical texts states that for organs are tuned to the tones of the pentatonic scale.) Neither can it (spoken word) explain the complexities of mathemathics without going into some almost archaic world where rules are almost like the rules that govern the physical world itself.
So ...?

or a bith of both with a bit of both in each?
