There are two issues: What creationists believe and the earth has four corners.

The creationists are not scientist simply because they do not use the scientific method. It is not what they observe, but what they believe. They can believe what the want, but the bible is "revealed" knowledge, not scientific theory that explains the facts, where a fact is an observation by men (note plural) independent location. There are no scientific facts concerning God.

The statement that the earth has four corners is incorrect. The three verses (Ez 7.2, Rev 7.1, Rev 20.8) states the "four corners of the land". This is an idiom for every direction you can see, In our terminology, the four corners would be North, East, South, and West. It has nothing to do with the earth being flat.

Christians believe in the words of the prophets. God words. The key word here is "believe". The bible documents that belief that, the word's of the prophets are God's words, but offer no proof of its content.. The bible is a collection of books for the believers: it is a religious book The bible is not a conversion manual.

The Christian Bible also says that the CREATOR of ALL THINGS created its self out of the chaos around it and gave it order. Then Created the souls of all that was and will be from its own body.Then created the Physical universe and all that's in it.
The Four Quarters are the Cardinal points of the Earth. East, South, West. North.It is a given fact that cannot be gotten around.
Just as evolutionists can not get around the fact that something has to be created before it can evolve.

Why? The Bible, imentions the edges of the earth, in a prophecy. Horsemen of the Apocalypse riding from the four corners, again, in a vision of prophecy.

The trouble with people who dispute the Bible, with a verse or statement here or there, generally dont read any more than that, and think it is literal. You have to know the whole thing to understand it.

The four corners of the earth are used figuratively today..
They are:

1=2000 miles N.W. of Alaska.
2=5000 miles N.E. of Siberia.
3=8500 miles S.W. of Chile.
4=9200 miles S.E. of New Zealand .

Or they are just sometimes called the S.corner, N. corner, E. corner & the W. corner....

So I don't know if that was what the Bible was talking about ..but I'm Highly inclined to think so..& I'm an atheist..= Z...but whatever..

I'm not understanding, love. Does the bible mean 4 corners physically, 4 corners of one country, or 4 ideas?

oh, that is a parable that was used to tell some story or other that people just could not understand back then so they needed something that they could relate to. the concept of a round object was simply to new for them.

in other words. it has been proven to be an absolute truth. so in the bible it is not a misteak it is a parable that was used so that the common man could understand something back then.

because the bible can never be wrong.

Because the Bible says the Earth is round so we know "corners" doesnt mean it's square. Looks up the greek and hebrew words used for corners... it doesnt even imply square

all religions is BS. Religion was a primitve way of answering questions back in the days when there were no scientist. some one asked " how did we get here" and som1 said owe ADAM and Eve gave birth to eryone. ALl the different races some how came from two people. I like to think that black people came from the gorilla family, we're ussually the tallest and biggest plus the gorillas skin is black. white people came from the chimpanzee family, you shave the hair of a chimp and its white. oriental and latino and native american people came from the orangatang family, there skin is redish. NOT BEING RACIST BUT JUST A THOUGHT as OPPOSED TO everyone coming from two mother fkrs.

Why can't darwinists just admit they really don't know what's going on. How does some protein just get randomly inserted into DNA and become something useful? We've seen mutations, but different species have different lengths of DNA... that's not exactly something that could happen under... normal conditions, I suppose you would call it.
