I gave my life to Jesus when I was 19, after my daughter was born because I wanted her to grow up strong, healthy and independent with good morals and values. I had always gone to church as a child and teenager, but after my daughter was born I felt this tugging at my heart all the way down to my soul, it was the Lord calling me. I submitted my life to Him for many reasons, one being I was in an abusive relationship at that time and did not want my daughter growing up with that. The day I gave my life to God, it gave me the strength to get rid of the abuser and to lift myself off the ground, Turn to God, pray in earnest to Him that you want to change your life, ask for forgiveness of your sins and then cast all of your worries upon Him and He will guide you from there. God Bless you.

A horriable crushing blow from a family member woke me up to the fact that my luke warm spirituality wasn't enough, that I needed God in my life to get thru this. You to can be saved right this minute. You pray to God and tell Him that you are sinner and you can even tell Him how you feel and you want to recieve His Salvation. The next step and it's so very important, you believe that you are saved!! The devil will try to tell you different but he's lying trying to steal your joy. I would find a good church then and talk to the pastor. You ARE NOT to far gone for God. Never. God is pulling you close, just let go and accept Him. He already knows about you and still wants you to join in the peace and joy He has waiting for you. God bless you and I'll pray for you!

In the first place, faith comes by hearing the Word of God..so you have already taken a step in the right direction.
The only one that can tell your purpose is God..He does have a plan and purpose for your life, and in due time, His time, He will reveal it to you.
You are never too far gone. There is a story in the Bible about the prodigal son..you need to read it..it is the same way God feels about us.
My life was horrible..everything crashing around me..and I finally said, "I give up God..you can have all of it"..and He change all my trash into something beautiful. God loves you and wants to use you for His purpose..Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you.

I found a higher power and got saved, I stopped drinking and changed my life for the best. Things and people I lost, were given back to me better than before. Take the plunge, you have nothing to loose. After all, it's a higher power, higher than yourself.

No man can come unto God unless he draws them and perhaps you are right and only need to accept the lord as your savior. This has happened to me too and I definitely felt led of the lord to start serving him and I did.

If you believe in the truth, then be filled with the truth, and you are with God.

God came to earth as a man and died on a cross, in fullfillment of thousands of years of Jewish scripture and divine foreshadowing of sacrifices, in a divine act of love of laying down His life for yours. He rose again, destroying death.

Speak the truth. I born and raised Christian and converted to Roman Catholicism. I am now Catholic, and yet in full communion with Roman Catholicism, because I understand her.

tbe a little more open minded and ask for the holy spirit to guide you, for it will, don't live in the past or future. your table is turned when you chose to turn it, forgive yourself and others always, it takes time to accomplish true forgiveness, spread love, never judge anyone for anything. just remember you will never be perfect, no one is, always bring a good attitude to the situation no matter what...what started me on my spiritual journey, i wanted to know the truth just like you, and it has been amazing! don't stop

the fact that I realized that Christ died for me to live, that he erased and took all of MY sin upon him, for me to be accepted by God. God grants forgiveness to us all, He says that i we believe in our hearts, that Christ is the Savior, and confess with out mouths, then we are saved.
