I have tried electroshock therapy, beating with phone books, threatening with guns, threatening family members. I've even tried dressing up like Jesus and say 'I WANT YOU' and pointing at them.

Nothing seems to work, please help i'm really stuck.

To live by example, it shows more to people when you live your principles then when you are busy telling other people how to live theirs.

PS

After reading your details I would say check yourself into the nearest psych-ward.

...My troll senses are tingling.

But if you really want a serious answer, the idea of "recruiting" Christians is ridiculous -- the thing that drives Christianity (TRUE Christianity) is faith in God, and that isn't something that can be forced or recruited (Spanish Inquisition, I'm looking at *you*!). You can teach people about the Bible and tell its stories, you can be kind and do good work in His name, or anything else you think will beat Christ into their heads; but whether or not they truly have faith is up to the individual.

EDIT -- Chris J, during the inquisition, many people only converted out of fear, not faith. They only became Christian because they were afriad the Church would kill them, which was a hideously un-Christian thing for the Church to do.

There is no way that anyone can 'recruit' Christians. Jesus said that if we could just lift Him up(tell others of Him) He is the one who will do the drawing. May God Bless

The best way is to be a good person and let Christianity strengthen your own life. That way more people will see the kind of person you are and will consider the possibility that it's your faith that made you such a good person. Then they might consider it.

i suggest more practice on your hell mongering technique. get into describing the teeth gnashing agonies of hell that await the unsaved sinner. then describe the wonders of heaven for comparison value. try mustering up a little misty tear in your eye as you piously plead to Jesus on the behalf of your would-be convert's imperiled soul and reiterate the horrors of hell and the perfections of heaven.

practice practice practice. effective hell mongering is an art form.

Oh it is so easy. Just make them feel like they are missing something in their lives and that they are filled with guilt for things they have done and OH! also don't forget to dangle a "heaven" in front of them like a carrot so that they will remain loyal in fear of buring in firey pits of hell.

Good luck! God bless you, even if you have not sneezed lately!

the inquisition worked...some converted. many died, either way the world ratio of Christians to other people shifted to christianity in the areas it was practiced in..

dont think that it would work today though.

If the key to success in real estate is 'location, location, location"
Then surely the key to recruiting christians would be 'repitition, repitition, repitition'

ok, so i understand... there are a lot of Christians who are really annoying & have absolutely no respect for others. There are other Christians who aren't like that. i swear!
