God ordered him to put 2 of EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL on the ark, including reptiles, insects, mammals, etc. Teradactyls would be included in the "everything that flies in the air" category. What about all the huge dinos or were they already extinct? Doesn't seem like the bible lists enough generations them to have time to become extinct before the flood though...

What is your favorite flavour of ice cream. I prefer chocolate. Do you think Atheists who don't like chocolate aren't true Atheists, like some Christians think gay Christians aren't true Christians (see a previous question of mine this evening), I think you can like something other than chocolate and still be a true Atheist.

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand persons were added that day. They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one's need. (Acts 2:41-45 NAB)

I had an experience in the grocery store several years ago. I saw three guys walking in as I was leaving. Two were sort of average build, but one was tall with dark hair. When I saw the taller guy, it was like I was seeing my best friend that I have ever had and hadn't seen in years. I actually started to call him by name to say hi, but as I soon as I opened my mouth and took a breath to speak, it was like the veil was closed immediately and I thought to myself "I don't know that guy at all." It was really strange and the experience has stayed with me ever since.

This was not a case of deja vu. I didn't think I had been in that situation before or remembered the situation, it was like I knew this single person better than anyone I have ever known, and then realized I didn't know him at all. I went back into the store to try to find them, but I did not see them again. You can offer all the comments you like, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced anything like this?

Have you ever been a different denomination than the one you currently are? (If you are a member of a specific denomination.)

What do you feel is better about the one you are now?

Do you miss anything about your old one?

Im no p*ssy. The way I see it, noone is genuinely better than me. Yet I have a lifelong habit of being so-called "passive" situations in terms of taking sh*t from most people. Over the years I feel it has done me more harm in terms of doubting my own motives. Ive gotten out of this mindset lately in re-evaluating myself as a person lately. Now, Ive had confrontations before. Ive stared a seven-man beatdown in the face and have rarely seen my anger on few occasions. My question to people who have dealt with the same obsticle, what methods if any have you used to deal with people yet contain your anger; i.e. articulate you're genuine anger better and more clearly. Im afraid my anger could take things too far if popping off at the mouth with raw emotion. Im not afraid of a fight but dont want to take much more sh*t from nosy/rude people in public situations anymore. My "passive" genuitey has seemed to make me an open target for mind games, politics, etc. Any suggestions?
