I used to be in a Lutheran church but now I'm in a Presbyterian. I like the atmosphere of my church now and the people. I also like the teachings and agree with the doctrine. I feel it is much better because of the values and doctrine of the different denomination. The church is a wonderful thing. You can fellowship with other christians even though at times it seems you the only one and standing out in a crowd. It's also a place where you can learn more about our Savior. I can say I dont' miss anything about my old church.

I was raised baptist, when l got out on my own l went to a Pentecostal, when l read my bible l decided l would have to find a church that read it too.. I'm not saying that these two church denominations are incorrect they have many strong points but when you pray for knowledge and understanding of the bible you had better be ready to have your eyes opened by the word and prepared to make some changes in your life.... I miss the real Christians in all the churches l've attended..God bless you.

I grew up in the Bible belt and sometimes I view it as a hotbed of fundamentalism. I have attended many Churches: Methodist, Baptist (Freewill, Independent, Missionary, Primitive, Fundamental, Southern and many combinations), Church of God (Tennessee), Church of God (Illinois), Assemblies of God, modern charismatic that don't exactly line up with other charismatic religions, Catholic, old fashioned Pentecostal with women shaking tambourines--I simply draw the line at snake handlers. I think I have seen everything from very ritualistic worship to entire congregations speaking in tongues & dancing in the Spirit. I honestly believe when any Christian Church sticks with scripture, you can find common ground and worship with anyone. (Again, I just will not go to a snake handling church, so I do draw the line.) I have talked with members of other faiths as well. I have also attended some non Christian services as well.
I joined the LDS (aka Mormon Church). I feel like this is exactly where the Spirit has lead me and this is where I have learned the most about Christ. I feel I am learning to be more Christ like here.
Do I miss anything . . . probably those old fashioned community sings where you could listen to music and buy something to eat.

I was a baptist, now i'm non-denominational.
i feel being non-denominational is better because we go more by the Bible, and less by what was learned through tradition.
I can't really say I miss anything about my old one.

Yes. The one I "am now" is non-denominational because I believe that Christians need to unite around the core issues in order to defend the word of the one true God against the many false gods.

I am currently a Jehovah's Witness. I like it much better than any of the other religions that I studied or became a part of because my friends now are people that I can trust much more deeply because of their faithful obedience to God and their desire to please him as much as possible. I also believe that they use the Bible much more and adhere to it more closely than any of the other religions that I have been involved in. I am able to keep a clean conscience now and to help others to learn about the Bible more fully. Sometimes I miss my family because they don't want to be around me because it makes them feel guilty but they are making the choices they want to make and I can't fix things for them.

I currently attend Beth Israel Messianic worship center.
Its the only one I have ever attended.
Well one other for about 5 months.
I just didn't care for the previous one.
The one I go to now is very rigid.
If you deviate from any teachings they tend to irritate you about it.
Though,no church is perfect.
You pick your poison.
Just like friends, you find the ones who are the least annoying.
Just kidding,I am just having a hard time finding the right analogy.
I think you are cute.Love long hair like that.
You know, people with long hair like you and I are usually very sensitive people.
God Bless
