INRI is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase IESVS NAZARENVS REX IVDAEORVM, which translates to English as: "Jesus the Nazarene, the King of the Jews". It appears in the New Testament of the Christian Bible in the Gospels of Matthew (27:37), Mark (15:26); Luke (23:38), and John (19:19).

Its Latin!
Iesus,(of) Nazareth, Rex, Iudei.
While we're on here, some further biblical posers..
'Golgotha (place of the skull) doesn't actually exist as a word in Hebrew or Aramaic. Apparently Christ's crucifiction took place INSIDE the walls of Jerusalem (strictly forbidden by Sanhedrin)
Gethsemenae(?) No such place- Try Gethshemmen (place of the olive press or 'Jasmine garden'- hence the stone?)
Also, why did Joseph of Aramithea ask for the 'soma' of Christ (living body) from Pilate who replied, 'You may have the 'ptoma' (dead body)' I mean what's goin' on here? There's enough material to write a book about the Holy Blood and the Holy Grail and spawn a thousand conspiracy theories about the descendants of Christ, his relationship with the French Merovingian dynasty, the Templars, the Prior de Sion, and even a full length feature movie starring Tom Hanks based on a book by someone ..Lets call him Dan Brown!

Jesus of
Nazareth
Rex (King of the)
Jews.
The Roman alphabet had no "J". In Ukrainian, his name is spelled "Isus" (Pronounced "ee-SOOs")
The Romans wrote that, so they used the Latin alphabet.
