7 days of whose time?

Remember, you are using an EARTH day as your reference but there was no Earth when God started.

In the begining, God created the Heavens and the Earth.

So why would God use a referenced time that had not been created yet?

How long is a day to God? 1 million years? 1 Billion years? 1 Trillion years?

He could very well have created the dinosaurs and they could very well have gone extinct by the time he go to man. Beast were created on the 4th day and man on the 6th. If God's day is 5 billion of our years, that would be about right.

Expand your thinking to beyond the speck of dust called Earth. The universe is so vast that the Earth is like a grain of sand on the Earth in comparison.

Answer1)The dinosaur's are mentioned in the bible in the book of genesis what happens is when the flood happened dinosaurs couldn't be placed on the boat and drowned from massive flooding
Answer2) During the first book of the bible the book describes affirmament around the worls which is actually a large body of water that keeps in oxygen, increasing pressure on the lungs causing us to breath easier because of the pressure our body sizes increased to larger sizes, When the flood passed god gave noah a sighn that he'd never flood the world again and that was the first a rainbow was ever seen by man and that is why the firmament ceased to exist.

The word for day in the genesis passages is "yom". Whenever "yom" is used with "and the evening and the morning" it means a literal day, which indicates a literal day. True science supports a young earth not one that is billions of years old (Institute for Creation Research, Answers in Genesis). In the beginning dinosaurs were likely vegetarian as animals were not given as food until Noah and family left the ark. Vegetation was likely much larger, an example being tomato plants that were 10-15 feet high. This due to a higher electromagnetism that has been decreasing steadily over the last 180 years of recorded measurements. This means that if electromagnetic forces were much much higher in those times, plant life would be much taller, larger and able to feed dinosaurs, who were likely vegetarian. Dinosaurs are described in Job 40 as Behemoth, Leviathan. This would mean they were present while man was on earth. In addition a fossil imprint found in Texas years ago of a dinosaur footprint with a man's footprint inside the dinosaur print indicate they were on the earth when man lived. This and much else supports a young earth, the literal 7 day account of creation, and dinosaurs living on the earth while man did. Go to ICR website and begin your study! :) Lori

The men who wrote the Bibble did'nt know dinosaurs ever existed. And no, humans and dinosaurs NEVER co-existed. The dinosaurs died out MILLIONS of years BEFORE man came into the picture. You asume the Bible to be fact, when 98% of it is fantasy. Most of us no longer believe the earth is flat or we're the center of the universe. It's time to wake up. There's no talking snakes and there's never been 900 year old men.

Well, not all animals are mentioned in the Bible. You might want to look at Job 40-41 for info. on dinosaurs. They may not mention them directly, tho.

its a parable, an analogy... like the seasons of life, (childhood, adolescence, established adulthood, old age/retirement) doesn't mean I live only one year after birth !
oh, and Leviathan is mentioned, that could be the dinosaurs

Dinosaur story is okay for modern kids, but back then they had other things to think about, okay?

The six-day version is allegorical anyway. Don't take it too literal.

The writers may have felt there was no spiritual value in writing about the dinosaurs. They may have been implied in Genesis on Day six.

I've wondered about that, it's one of the many reasons I don't believe in god.
